    “We love the property.”

We are family group of four adults and the accomodation was very comfortable. The view is awesome . The narrow lane down to the property is worth the effort , it’s why the place is quiet and tranquil. The proximity to the beach and coastal walks is brilliant. Thank you we would thoroughly recommend the wave.

The property

The Wave at Eype is a unique architect designed lodge that has without doubt the most breath-taking uninterrupted sea views.

Completed in 2018, this contemporary lodge has bi-fold doors leading onto a large deck area, which makes the most of the sea views, for both inside and outside spaces.

These doors make the open plan living kitchen dining space part of the outside and really do make it the perfect place.

The wave shape affords guests the opportunity of a first floor master bedroom with additional unique sea views.

There are also two ground floor bedrooms and bathroom.

This is a unique feature lodge Situated at Eype, is just a few moments' walk from the beach, and coastal path, offering the perfect location for a relaxed seaside family holiday in Dorset.

Just a short drive away the market town of Bridport, with its famous market, independent shops and restaurants and is well worth a visit.

If you are a fan of the ITV series Broadchurch, the chalet used in series one is opposite The Wave and West Bay where the series was based is just a short drive away, and you can see many familiar sights.

There is much to be enjoyed on the doorstep of this beautiful lodge, but don’t let that stop you from exploring, Chesil beach, Charmouth, Lyme Regis, Abbotsbury, Portland and more.

All are within easy driving of Eype.

This chalet would suit a family or group of friends who want to make the most of being by the sea.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £100.

About the location

EYPE

Bridport 1.8 miles; Lyme Regis 9.6 miles; Seaton 18.4 miles.

Eype sits on one of the most dramatic sections of the Jurassic Coastline, and famously features one of ITV’s series Broadchurch’s most iconic locations. We’ll leave you guessing as to which one until you visit. The beach at Eype is a steeply shelving pebble beach that is dog friendly all year round and just 3 miles from Bridport and 4 from West Bay, where many other Broadchurch locations can be viewed, as well enjoying local fish and chips on the harbour side and ice creams on the sea front. Bridport offers all the high street amenities you will need along with a much-coveted antiques and collectables market. Golden Cap, the highest point in Dorset, sits on the South West Coast path and is just 4 miles from Eype, although it’s the highest point there are moderate routes to walk to the top, where spectacular far reaching views along the coast will be your reward.

Note: there is some restricted head height as you approach the window in the 1st floor bedroom.

Note: there is a good house-keeping bond of £100 on this property

Note: guests need to provide their own cot linen

Note: No stag or hen (or similar style) parties accepted at this property.

Note: This property has compliance inspections booked for Mon 27th June 2022 (Fire risk, PAT testing and gas certificate) Access will be needed by inspectors during this time.
