The property

Pebbles Reach, a lovely, terraced, three-storey property in Dorset, is tucked away on Officers Field in the village of Fortuneswell.

With Chesil Beach just paces away, this dog-friendly retreat is excellent for families searching for a seaside getaway, with off-road parking, an enclosed terrace, and nearby amenities.

Inside, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen/diner where you can stock the cupboards, prepare home-cooked meals, and gather your loved ones around the table for eight.

After a day at the beach, clean up in the cloakroom/utility with a washing machine, before heading to the first-floor sitting room.

Relax in this neutral space, which features a large corner sofa, a Smart TV, and large patio doors that lead to your private terrace.

Why not dine outside in this sunny spot with outdoor seating?

However, if you need some peace and quiet, head to the summerhouse with a good book and a cup of tea.

On the first floor, you'll also find a twin room, a charming space decorated with children in mind, and a beautifully appointed family bathroom with bath, shower over, and heated towel rail.

The second floor has two more bedrooms, a master double with sea views and an en-suite shower room, and a family room with a double, single, and TV, both with plenty of storage and tastefully decorated.

Fortuneswell is a great place to start your Dorset getaway, with pubs and restaurants like The Cove House Inn, which overlooks the beach, Frontline Café & Bar, and Chesil Chippie, as well as local convenience stores.

There's lots to see and do on the Isle of Portland, whether it's learning about local history at Portland Castle and Portland Museum, visiting the animals at Fancys Farm, or taking a coastal hike to Portland Bill Lighthouse.

Along the West Dorset Heritage Coast, you'll have the lovely Chesil Beach on your doorstep for many more coastal excursions to see the Jurassic Coast cliffs for yourself; why not arrange a boat tour at Wild Chesil Centre for a chance to meet local wildlife?

An excellent base for touring, the town of Weymouth isn't far for swimming and sunbathing along Weymouth Beach, the bustling Weymouth Harbour, and the SEA LIFE Centre Weymouth.

RSPB Lodmoor and Radipole Lake are two beautiful nature reserves where you can watch local birds!

Pebbles Reach in Dorset offers a great staycation all year-round.
