The property

White Cottage is a cosy cottage situated in the pretty village of Bere Regis, between the lively towns of Dorchester and Poole.

This superb, newly renovated in 2021 two-bedroom property enjoys a wealth of character, as well as contemporary features and furnishings, providing an excellent level of accommodation for a family or group of friends to enjoy this beautiful part of Dorset.

Soak up your surroundings of the quaint village before pushing open the front door to discover the immaculate sitting room, home to everything you could possibly need.

Make use of the quality kitchen appliances to chef up your own delicious meals before settling down with your family or friends at the dining table to pop open a bottle of bubbly and toast to a long-awaited holiday.

Afterwards, relax and unwind into your evening by sinking into the sofa and flicking through the channels of the Smart TV or simply admire the boutique interior of this space with a drink in hand.

Once the evening has drawn to a close, make your way upstairs to find the elegant king-size bedroom, complete with quality linens and a plush duvet that is awaiting to be curled up in after an action-packed day, while along the landing you will find a single bedroom with a trundle bed, ideal for younger guests.

Completing the interior is the family bathroom, perfect for a refreshing shower after a long day of sightseeing.

Each morning, look forward to catching a breath of fresh air in the garden, where rattan furniture provides an alternative spot for enjoying your morning coffee or alfresco dining in the balmy summer evenings.

Explore your surroundings further by taking a walk into the village of Bere Regis, home to two traditional pubs serving tasty pub grub, as well as a convenience store where you can pick up any essentials.

For a greater choice of amenities, head to the nearby Saxon town of Wareham, offering a host of unique shops, fine restaurants and historical attractions such as the Wareham Town Museum and the iconic St Martin’s Church.

For those wishing to explore further, pop on your walking boots and explore one of the many countryside walks, visit the Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre for a chance to see rescued and adopted apes from all around the world, or see the magnificent war exhibitions at the Tank Museum, just five miles away.

For a day on the coast, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door are just 11 miles away, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites, which should be high on the list of places to visit.
