“Another year at Admirals Retreat.”
Location is great, near to the Nothe Fort and gardens with a ten minute walk into town and the beach. Big plus is the parking, however ,saying that, anything bigger than a medium hatch might prove difficult to park .
Welcome pack containing washing liquid dishwasher tablets bin bag and cleaning cloths nice. Having tea coffee etc to get you going also very good, before having to go shopping.
Very happy to find a couple of wooden garden seats outside the lounge.

As we've been before we can see no signs of simple maintenance that would just make it that bit better. ie mouldy sealant round the bath. Still leaks when having a shower. But more importantly being able to open the side windows which are still tapped up with sticky tape. Issues aside the property is still very nice and they didn't detract from our stay.
I would still recommend this property to couples and given five stars for everything had above issues been addressed over the year .
Just as a side note. It was very hot which was lovely being on holiday but not trying to sleep. Might be nice to have a fan available.

The sealant around the bath was replaced in January so I will be checking that during my visit in November. And also the shower.
Unfortunately there is nothing I can do about the allocated parking space but reversing in makes it easier.
