“We had a fabulous stay at 23 Millhams Street.”

The cottage itself is just as lovely as the photos and was spotlessly clean. You couldn’t be positioned any better for visiting Christchurch and we hardly used the car at all during our stay. The owners are so lovely and provided a huge amount of information which helped us enormously with car parking in particular but also with the various ferries, dog walks and places to eat. Just the best owners. Yes having to park in a public car park was a bit of a nuisance but we quickly got our heads ...

We visited Lymington which we enjoyed and also had a warm and sunny day on Mudeford Spit which was amazing. Lovely holiday and a place we shall definitely be returning to.

“A great stay at no.”

23. The cottage was perfect in many ways. Excellent position tucked behind Christchurch High Street with easy access to restaurants and The Quay. We found the cottage spotless and beds very comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with all kinds of utensils. Downstairs is all open plan (which we love) and lovely and bright leading to a perfectly formed little sunny courtyard. Thank you to the owners for leaving detailed instructions about the house and very informative suggestions about the area/restaurants/walks and of course the obligatory boat trips. An excellent stay even though the weather not the best. Thank you owners.

“Brilliant place to stay in Christchurch, close to all amenities.”

Parking can be a bit challenging - we parked in the Leisure Centre car park, but limited to a maximum of 24 hours - so ended up parking in the car park during the day and parking on Bridge Street overnight for free ( from 5.30pm to 10.30am) - parking could potentially be a major problem during peak times. There is unlimited free parking on the outskirts of town, but you are unlikely to find a space as they are very limited and we could not find a space at any time, even in February! Property owners could not be more helpful in any way. We could not find the instructions for the cooker, or find a cheese grater! - but apart for these minor details the cottage was amazing and we would definitely stay here again (but not in peak season due to the parking issues).

Priory and new forest etc . A lovely well equipped property excellent kitchen and bathroom enjoyed jacuzzi bath Clean comfortable and lovely garden which was loved by our dog .

“Brilliant location for this cosy cottage.”

Just a few minutes walk to the Quay, shops and restaurants. Central for visiting Bournemouth, Swanage and the New Forest. Cottage is scrupulously clean and has everything you need plus a secure garden for dogs. Would highly recommend!!

“What a stunning property.”

Very welcoming and cosy. The owner emailed information about the property and local attractions prior to our arrival. It was immaculate, very clean. Lovely little touches for our 2 dogs. It’s in an excellent location. It’s behind the high street so a minute away from cafes, bars and restaurants. Considering how close it was to the town centre there was so noise. Highly recommend to others. The property exceeded expectations. Thank you for a perfect stay

“Great location, loads to do nearby.”

Very quick to get to either the River Avon or the Stour. Excellent facilities in property. Ideal garden for the dog and relaxing. Huge roof lantern in extension and four folding full height doors to garden. Heat extensive coming through lantern in roof on hot days. Nearby MAW and Kelly's both do half price breakfast. Whole area very dog friendly.

You had some really hot days, we have added information of how to keep the cottage cooler by keeping special heat reflecting blinds closed downstairs/ roof velux open when you are out , together with two tower fans to keep you cool either downstairs or upstairs in the bedrooms. “Fantastic place so near to buses and trains so no need for a car.”

Lovely and clean. Had an issue when couldn't work out tv controls and phoned owner who popped round straight away and sorted things. Would recommed and will be back ourselves.

“Great property.”

The owner was exceptionally helpful in advising on child/dog friendly recommendations. Gorgeous property in the centre of town, literally two minutes to restaurants and pubs. You do have to park away from the property, however this was easy to navigate and not a problem for us. 10 minute drive offers a choice of beaches.

The attractive Dorset waterside town of Christchurch is situated on the estuaries of the Rivers Stour and Avon, where they come together to form a magnificent natural harbour. Christchurch is a real gem of a town, offering visitors a wonderful and diverse holiday experience. The town centre boasts an array of charming shops and quality restaurants, whilst the 11th century castle ruins and the glorious Medieval priory, the longest parish church in the country, are well worth visiting. No trip to Christchurch would be complete unless you have strolled down to the pretty quayside, where you can enjoy refreshments whilst watching the ever changing boating scene, or you may wish to take one of the regular boat trips along the peaceful River Stour. Take your buckets and spades to one of the gorgeous sandy beaches nearby, and enjoy a ferry trip across the mouth of the harbour from Mudeford Quay to the sandbank with its colourful array of little beach huts.
