“Great location, loads to do nearby.”

Very quick to get to either the River Avon or the Stour. Excellent facilities in property. Ideal garden for the dog and relaxing. Huge roof lantern in extension and four folding full height doors to garden. Heat extensive coming through lantern in roof on hot days. Nearby MAW and Kelly's both do half price breakfast. Whole area very dog friendly.

You had some really hot days, we have added information of how to keep the cottage cooler by keeping special heat reflecting blinds closed downstairs/ roof velux open when you are out , together with two tower fans to keep you cool either downstairs or upstairs in the bedrooms. “Fantastic place so near to buses and trains so no need for a car.”

Lovely and clean. Had an issue when couldn't work out tv controls and phoned owner who popped round straight away and sorted things. Would recommed and will be back ourselves.

“Great property.”

The owner was exceptionally helpful in advising on child/dog friendly recommendations. Gorgeous property in the centre of town, literally two minutes to restaurants and pubs. You do have to park away from the property, however this was easy to navigate and not a problem for us. 10 minute drive offers a choice of beaches.

The attractive Dorset waterside town of Christchurch is situated on the estuaries of the Rivers Stour and Avon, where they come together to form a magnificent natural harbour. Christchurch is a real gem of a town, offering visitors a wonderful and diverse holiday experience. The town centre boasts an array of charming shops and quality restaurants, whilst the 11th century castle ruins and the glorious Medieval priory, the longest parish church in the country, are well worth visiting. No trip to Christchurch would be complete unless you have strolled down to the pretty quayside, where you can enjoy refreshments whilst watching the ever changing boating scene, or you may wish to take one of the regular boat trips along the peaceful River Stour. Take your buckets and spades to one of the gorgeous sandy beaches nearby, and enjoy a ferry trip across the mouth of the harbour from Mudeford Quay to the sandbank with its colourful array of little beach huts.
