    “The Annex had obviously had a lot of money spent on it to make it very attractive.”

    The quality of all the furnishings is very good and a beautifully comfortable if small double bed! All the the white goods were of good quality. But despite the accommodation being for 3 people, There were only 5 knives in total - dinner knives, 5 wine glasses of three differing shapes, 5 mugs of two patterns and one chipped, 2 bread and butter plates but at least a dozen dinner plates, no bread knife, no baking tray for bought in Cooks meals, no cafetière or any means for making fresh ...

Sorry, we dont do instant coffee!! When we arrived the dish washer was full of dirty crockery and cutlery! The wardrobe had an empty sweet packet on the shelf. It It lacked attention to detail! Usual grumble, no hooks to hanging dressing gowns or towels on backs or doors or anywhere. Despite there being a level floor inside the property, there were three steep steps (for me) into the property. Not the owners fault, but feel Sykes should be aware by now if my difficulty.

    So glad you enjoyed the lovely surroundings of our properties. The views are fab, and we work hard at maintaining the parkland grounds in our gated premises. We live here, and enjoy sharing with our holiday guests. Views from your patio are lovely I'm sure you'll agree. Huge apologies for my missing the dishwasher Dilemma. I do pay close attention to detail,sure you'll agree, but totally missed that one, but sure you'll agree,the Annexe is kept to a high standard of cleanliness. We do it seems need, after busy season to re evaluate kitchen needs, as different for everyone. Will look into coffee machine suggestion. There is always someone on site in the main house to meet and greet, and l believe we did bring requested items straight over to Annexe, including door hangers, to help you enjoy your stay. The bedrooms are single and full double as stated, and beds brand new for this year. We do sometimes have people needing 'assistance' stay, and the 2 brick height 1 step with 1 brick high doorway has thankfully not been a problem so far it seems. We don't have invalidity status exactly , but we have had guests who rely on wheelchairs once inside,enjoy our properties, as both open plan arrangements seem to mostly suit. The property

The Annex is a superb, single-storey cottage situated in the Dorset market town of Wimborne Minster, on the edge of the Cranborne Chase AONB.

Tastefully presented throughout, this cottage welcomes up to three guests across one bedroom as well as your canine companion and boasts a light and airy, contemporary décor.

After a day of wandering Dorset’s coast and countryside, the open-plan living space will welcome your return; take a seat on the large sofa and tune into the Smart TV or throw open the French doors and access the spacious courtyard.

The designated chef can get acquainted in the kitchen, home to a range of appliances including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and even a dishwasher, so washing up will be no trouble!

Wander through to the bedroom, boasting a stylish flair with a double bed housed in a brass frame, along with a lovely fitted storage for your personal belongings.

There is also a second bedroom with a single bed, accommodating up to three guests in total.

Begin your daily routine in the sleek bathroom, complete with choice of bath and shower over so you can best decide how to prepare for the day.

The Annex is positioned within two miles of a welcoming pub, Willett Arms Wimborne, where you can pick up a tasty lunch after a day of wandering the village.

Hop in the car and venture to the coastal town of Bournemouth, an idyllic setting for a day out, it offers a range of activities from Oceanarium with a variety of marine ecosystems, underwater tunnels and feeding sessions or have fun at Bournemouth Pier Amusements which is full of arcade games.

Thrill seekers can zip wire over the pier or visit RockReef which houses a rock-climbing wall, ropes course and cave themed tunnels.

Visit the town of Poole and take on the Splashdown waterpark with a range of flumes and slides, or visit the beauty of the Upton Country Park and explore this massive rural part and Georgian mansion.

Beautifully presented throughout, The Annex is a charming base in any season.
