The WiFi is TERRIBLE!

!!!! It was best just to turn WiFi off!!!! That needs to be sorted. The parking was really very difficult and awkward. We fortunately had a small car. It was very unclear whether we had to stop at the bollard or should go to the end. If going to the end it was very difficult to get out again. People need to be warned of this. Everything else was great. Very comfortable, well equipped and lovely to stay there. Great location. Really enjoyed our stay.

This was our second holiday at Roundham cottage, lovely property and facilities with lots to do nearby.

Harry and Pam were pleasant and delightful hosts and they made us feel at home, we enjoyed our stay and we look forwards to returning.

Everything about the accommodation was perfect for us. We would highly recommend this accommodation.

Accommodation and furnishing comfortable.

Sufficient utensils. Good situation between Bridport and West Bay but road leading off West Bay Road short but steep. Driveway tricky, best not to drive up to cottage but to leave vehicle by bungalow. Enjoyed a relaxing stay.

The location of the property was excellent, easily walkable to West Bay & Bridport.

The pint of milk in the fridge was most welcome. The driveway leading to the parking space was very narrow, which wasn’t reflected in the pictures or description of the property, if we had a larger car we would have struggled to reach the parking space. The property was clean but there was a strange smell in the property, like masked stale cigarette smoke, which we were surprised by since it is a non smoking property. We opened the windows whilst we were there but couldn’t get rid of the smell all weekend. We were surprised to only find two teaspoons, which we thought was a bit mean. There didn’t seem to be any provision for recycling so we took it home with us as we didn’t want it to go to landfill.

The cottage is clean, comfortable and modern.

Very central for exploring the area. West Bay and Bridport an easy walk, and a bus stop outside the property. Nice sitting area at the back looking over to rolling hillsides. All very enjoyable.

Only met Harry once helped us with heat Setting on boiler very pleasant and helpful man Accommodation spotless and cosy walk to large supermarket and local pub , parking right outside perfect

The Cottage was everything we expected, good location in West Bay and also to visit other places in Dorset

We had a lovely week at roundham cottage.

Very clean, the owners nextdoor were very friendly but left you alone. We would use Skye's to book our next break as so easy and would return to roundham again.

Had a lovely stay, cottage was just perfect for us.

Great for walks and a good location where you could get away from it all. Easy walk into Bridport, a great market on Saturday. Good having owners on site, Harry was a perfect host.

We spent a lovely week at Roundham Cottage.

The cottage is perfect, lovely decor and very well equipped. A lovely deck at the back, a real sun trap, and perfect for watching the sun go down in the evening. Harry and Pam met us on arrival, a lovely couple who just leave you to get on but we had a nice chat over the garden fence.

Pam and Harry were the perfect hosts.

They settled us in then left us to it! The photos of the cottage don’t do it justice. It’s cosy, well equipped (even has Netflix) and the garden is a little sun trap and private. There is some road noise when you’re outside but that didn’t bother us. The cottage is in a great spot. It’s around a 15 minute walk down to the beaches and harbor front (the walk up the cul de sac is very steep). There’s also a Morrison’s and Spa in walking distance. Only thing we’d say is we didn’t know what to do with our recycling - maybe add a note in the welcome book. Would highly recommend to a couple looking for a chilled out break in a central location.

A little gem.

Beautiful holiday home for a couple, with everything necessary to hand. Clean, modern and tidy. Decked area came into its own during the afternoon and evening, bathed in sunshine. Highly recommended.

Roundham cottage just perfect, everything we needed for a comfortable stay, a real bonus having the garden area. Perfect position for enjoying the Dorset coastline.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

However, information about this property should advise how the key safe works as we had to enlist the help of the owner to put the key back at the end of our stay.

The cottage was sparkling clean and well equipped.

It suited our needs very well. Quiet location away from the crowds at West Bay at the weekend. We would choose Roundham Cottage again.

Lack of Wi Fi and very basic equipment wise

We enjoyed our recent stay in this comfortable and clean accommodation.

We were a bit surprised that a hairdryer wasn't provided - self-catering properties tend to include one. The first morning's activities included a trip in to Bridport to buy one ! A small bin in the bathroom would be useful as would a potato peeler and small sharp kitchen knife in the kitchen drawer. Whilst obviously plates etc. were provided, a complete set of modern crockery and cutlery would complement the modern kitchen and appliances. Although the entrance to the property is in a close, the cottage is located in an elevated position above the main road in to West Bay. We were therefore aware of some traffic noise ; especially when we had any windows open.

Just a couple of points Duvet cover had splits both sides on seams No wine glasses No bin in bathroom or shaver point Very steep road to bungalow not good if you have mobility issues would be good to know in advance Better recycling instructions Otherwise a lovely clean and quiet bungalow

Thoroughly recommend Roundham zcottage

Location was good for us, quiet.

only 15 minutes easy walk to West Bay and only 5 minutes walk to the local pub. The owners, who live on site, were very friendly and helpful and respected our privacy. There is a private outside terrace and garden area that gets the afternoon and evening sun and views of the hills. We would not hesitate to return. Be aware that Sykes Holiday Cottages charge a Booking Fee which is added at the end of your booking.

A Beautiful well equipped cottage in a great location for coast or town.

Lovely cottage.

Beautiful garden. Clean and well appointed. However, disappointed with shower. Although large, floor was very slippery. Would have felt safer with a stippled floor. Towels were too thin. Would have been better to have brought our own.

We had a most comfortable and enjoyable stay, and found the location perfect for our needs.

We met the owners who were most welcoming and a very nice couple.

Very well equipped and presented accommodation.
