Harbour Watch Apartment 6

Lovely flat with beautiful views over the harbour.

Nice and clean with a choice of bath or shower. Lots of stairs to climb up to the flat but worth it for the views. A little noisy at night but this is to be expected in peak times as you are directly next to and across from several pubs and Weymouth has a lively vibe to it. The flat is just a few minutes walk from Nothe Fort and there are some great walks along the coastal path.

What a perfect view from the window.

This was my favourite place to be sitting and watching and listening to life going on along the quayside. There are lots of bars and restaurants just outside. The fishing boats come and go every day . Who needs a TV,? Not noisy at all when the windows are closed. The apartment was comfortable with the added bonus of an ensuite shower and toilet . The beds and linen was of good quality. My only niggle was the oven was complicated to use ( for me ) and the frying pans could do with replacing. I do like to cook some meals when I'm on holiday as eating out every day is expensive these days. There were lots of fish and chips shops and pubs providing meals a few minutes walk away. The parking outside is limited to 1 hour during the day but free from 7pm -8am. The Noth car park free after 6pm - 8am or £6:20 for 10 hrs. I didn't want the hassle of finding a space every day so I paid £22 through Just Park to park in Asda for 6 days. Which enabled me to come and go and I didn't use my car for 3 of those days as there is so much to do local. If you go to Dorchester, take the train as it only takes 10 mins for £6 return. I would definitely come back again. I am missing the view already.

This really is a very good flat.

We first stayed here 25 years ago and several times since and were happy to return. It has been completely modernised since then and with two bedrooms with plenty of cupboard space and two bathrooms it is very comfortable. The large windows offer great views of the harbour. Overall a fine flat well worth staying in.

Shower was dirty.

..grease on upvc at bottom of shower. Very dusty! Coffee stains at side of settee......grease along coving of kitchen units. Tops of wardrobes thick with dust. Door in wardrobe broken so unable to use bottom drawer. Toaster needs to be replaced!!! No bathroom or shower mats which was a potential hazard! On the plus side ......lovely view and location and comfortable beds!

The accommodation was very well appointed with all of the facilities that I could reasonably have expected plus cleanliness was superb.

The location, right on the harbour, was amazing but we didn't suffer from any noise because of it. I thought that parking might have been an issue but actually it was only 7 minutes walk away and really didn't impact us at all. Fantastic!

Great location and excellent very clean apartment!

The flat was an excellent base for exploring Weymouth and beyond.

The shops and lots of restaurants were within easy walking distance. Although the waterside was bustling and noisy during the day it was quiet at night, apart from seagulls. we would go there again.

Lovely flat in a great location. No real issues. I would just like to point out that the shower doors were not attached correctly at the bottom, rollers are not in the locating channel. The cupboard door to the freezer is not attached to the freeze.

Perfect location for shops restaurants bars the seafront also visitor attractions.

The apartment was clean, tidy, well decorated and in an excellent location.

We booked the harbour watch appartment, after reading reviews, which were variable, However we were delighted with the accommodation, it was clean comfortable and had everything we could want for our short stay, it was lovely to relax and watch the fishing boats poodle out to sea, and see the bars alongside the harbour buzzing in the correct manner.

A practical no frills 3 star accommodation, that offers an ideal location close to all amenities and with excellent views of the harbour.

Very well appointed apartment in a wonderful location.

We were let down very badly by another holiday booking and we had to transfer immediately.

Sykes staff were very helpful and we were able to relocate into an excellent property the next day. Property was clean, comfortable and in a wonderful location, exceptional value all round and we enjoyed a fabulous holiday. We will book again with Sykes!

The only thing that lets this property down is the lack of comfortable seating, but having stayed there for three times now the location and views make it all worthwhile.

Very nice apartment we have been staying here for many years due to its location, and we have provisionally booked the same apartment for September 2018.

We had a wonderful time in Apartment 6 harbour watch and of course Weymouth itself! We are giving some serious thoughts to a return trip! Thanks to all concerned in the organisation of the holiday. Stayed June 2018
