Cove Street Cottage

Lovely cottage, ideally situated.

When we arrived the cottage had unfortunately not been cleaned and was mess on the floors as the cleaners had missed it so we had to go to dream cottages main office to report it which in turn we then couldn’t get in until after 6pm but they did clean it.

The stairs being open tred is a bit precarious with small children otherwise everything else is fine and the balcony is cute. Did have a lot of drilling and banging every day quite early which at first we thought was the neighbours but we actually think some of it was from the building work at the old brewers building as well which there’s not a lot you can do about unfortunately, overall otherwise it was a lovely stay

Great location good size house but I would say needs some maintenance work doing and bathroom needed a bit more cleaning

We really enjoyed our stay in Weymouth. Cove Street Cottage was in an excellent location for us, pubs, cafe's and a local shop right on the doorstep and just a short walk from the town and sea front. Being so close to the harbour was a delight, watching the boats passing by was one of our favourite bits. The only downside was the cottage was very warm especially the main bedroom at the top of the house. we found it very difficult to sleep at night. it would have been helpful if a couple of fans had been available to cool it down a bit. Other than that, the house was well maintained and fully equipped with all we needed. Thank you for the stay.

From the moment I stepped into Cove Street Cottage I was impressed.

On inspection I could find no fault whatsoever. Absolutely every need was catered for , from appliances to utensils. Cove Street Cottage is by far the best holiday accommodation I have stayed in. I would 100% recommend and my family and I (including 5 month old granddaughter) will certainly be returning

Loved the location of the property, it was great being so close to Brewers Quay.

The property was very comfortable with all the features we like. The only issue we had was that the property we believed hadn't been cleaned before we arrived and also the fridge freezer had been left turned off so we couldn't use straight away (more annoying was the fridge has an audible alarm to let you know it's not cold and this sounded for an hour before it fell silent) I raised these issues with the rental management company (Dreams cottages) on the Monday and they offered to get cleaner round on Tuesday. We declined as we had already cleaned all the floors and hoovered by then. As for the fridge they were baffled why tge fridge is fully booked and no need to have turned off. But all in all a great property and would definitely recommend

The quality of decor and the appliances inside is the best we’ve had. A credit to the owner.

Our only disappointment was lack of mirrors in bedrooms for drying hair etc.

the only one was in bathroom where obviously there are no electricity points
