The property

Cove Street Cottage is an inviting, three-story home located in the heart of the bustling tourist town of Weymouth, Dorset.

Cove Street Cottage, which benefits from flexible sleeping arrangements and a private, decked terrace, provides the ideal base for a family holiday, resting a stone’s throw away from the beach, the harbour, and a hub of amenities and attractions.

Park your car in a nearby public car park and venture on foot to the home.

Be welcomed into the living/dining area, where you can unwind on the plush sofas with the TV on in the background after a day of travel or exploration, before heading into the kitchen to create delectable meals.

There is a washing machine and dishwasher for your comfort, and the kitchen has everything you need for a self-catered trip.

Gather around the dining table or travel up to the enclosed terrace on the first floor, a lovely suntrap created with outdoor dining in mind.

Choose between two elegant bedrooms, including a twin and a second-floor king-size, both serviced by a bathroom.

Start your day with a stroll around the waterfront, which is teeming with stores, restaurants, and landmarks to see; refuel with some breakfast at The Nothe Café, make reservations at The George Bar & Grill, or stock up on the necessities to fill the fridge.

Continue to explore Nothe Fort and its stunning ruins, brush up on your local history at Weymouth Museum, stroll along the shore while dropping by Alexandra Gardens, a family-friendly theme park, or feel at one with nature by trekking through RSPB Radipole Lake or RSPB Lodmoor.

The magnificent Chesil Beach, located in the Dorset AONB and spanning 18 miles of shingle and sand, is close by, or if you'd rather spend the day sightseeing, travel to Dorchester, and visit the Dorset Museum, the Dorset Teddy Bear Museum, National Trust - Max Gate, and the beloved Kingston Maurward Animal Park and Gardens.

Finish your break in Bridport with a day of history at the museum and strolls along the River Brit before making it home in time for sundowners.

Enjoy some family time at Cove Street Cottage.
