“Connaught Gardens is a very spacious and clean property in a quiet neighbourhood.”

Its about a 10 minute walk to a local Co-op. It is well located for visits to Portland, Chesil Beach and Weymouth itself. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

The property

This well-appointed, detached house in a small, residential development in Weymouth, makes a superb base for touring all the attractions of Dorset.

Ideal for families, this bright and airy cottage has everything you need to ensure your stay is a comfortable one.

On the ground floor, you will find a fully fitted kitchen with a breakfast area for enjoying that first coffee of the day before cooking up a delicious meal for all the family.

There is also a separate dining room, in which you can get together in the evenings and share your memories of the day.

The living room is perfect for catching up on your favourite films together, or why not curl up with a good book or a puzzle in the sun room.

Climb the staircase to the first floor and find a large master bedroom with an en-suite shower room, followed by a double bedroom and twin bedroom.

To the exterior, you can make the most of the large garden, which is laid mostly to lawn with a patio surrounded by planted borders, ideal for relaxing in the evening sun with a drink.

Though this charming cottage is tucked away in a residential area, you are moments away from award-winning beaches, the historic harbour and all the wonders of the town centre.

Chesil Beach is a must to see its spectacular pebble bank and incredible views along the Jurassic Coastline, while the The National Sailing Academy offers wonderful opportunities to take to the water, catering for all levels of ability.

Enjoy an energetic walk to Durdle Door along the South West Coast Path and take in the fabulous landscape scenery before you, remembering to bring your camera for that famous shot with your family in the foreground.

Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens also make a lovely day out for all the family; this is the ideal getaway for an unforgettable trip to Dorset.
