Sit down at the dining table as the wine is poured and conversation flows, or head out into the enclosed garden to enjoy an alfresco affair in the midst of your tranquil surroundings.
Spend the evening talking and stargazing in the bubbling hot tub after a long day of exploring, then clean up in the ground-floor shower area.
Discover a chic bathroom on the first floor, great for a lengthy soak and finishing your vital evening routine, then proceed down the hallway to one of the three delightful bedrooms, which include two doubles and a twin.
Head to Dorchester and explore the exhibits at the nearby Dorset Museum, enjoy a family picnic in Borough Gardens, or travel to the National Trust-owned Max Gate, the former residence of the renowned author and poet Thomas Hardy, all in the nearby city of Dorchester.

This is the perfect, peaceful getaway, with lots of gorgeous, remote, countryside to enjoy.
Our dog was in heaven! The cottage is extremely well equipped, with everything you could possibly need and more! We loved the little on-site shop for local produce! Thoroughly recommended as a welcome, very comfortable place to relax; home from home. We hope to return again soon.
Lovely accommodation.
Very clean ,nice touches added like fresh flowers and nice biscuits. Kitchen had everything we needed. The out door barbecue was fab. Private garden. Loved the hot tub. We found the heating hard to control. And it was difficult to dry the towels without putting the heating on. Perhaps a dehumidifier would be better to use overnight. We had a lovely stay so much to visit in that part of the country. Would recommend.
