    “Overall, as a small family, we had a good stay here.”

    Within a gated complex, it proved a secure, charming, and quiet choice by the delightful Nothe Gardens, and just a quick ten minute drive to the busy harbour. The parking spot given was good, yet when an SUV was regularly parked in the bay behind us it meant it was tricky and required more care to reverse within a tight corner. The apartment was modern, clean, warm, well-equipped, with good wi-fi, bright, and nicely furnished as in the photos. As a welcome pack, there were plenty of tea ...

The parking spot given was good, yet when an SUV was regularly parked in the bay behind us it meant it was tricky and required more care to reverse within a tight corner. The apartment was modern, clean, warm, well-equipped, with good wi-fi, bright, and nicely furnished as in the photos. As a welcome pack, there were plenty of tea bags, some coffee sachets, and sugar provided. However, we would have benefitted from some milk and biscuits as well after what had been a long drive. We really liked the partial view of the sea from the sunny living room windows, it was better than expected, and, the big smart TV. The kitchen was all easy and reliable to use. Though, we came to realise the oven, when switched on, was a bit loud and we found that it was very hard to open the kitchen window. We liked both the lovely walk-in shower and bath-shower, and, mirror which lit up, yet had to keep the blind down every time we opened the bathroom window for privacy. Bedrooms were comfortable and very quiet at night. The larger bedroom had ample wardrobe-drawer space; the twin bed less so, although it had some space under the beds also light from the outside security night light peeked through the black-out curtains, so an eye mask did help us in this particular room.

The property

A very stylish and spacious apartment located in the Admiral's Quarter, a development of mews houses, town houses and contemporary apartments. Situated on the upper ground floor, this wonderful apartment benefits from partial sea views from the sitting room, through the trees towards Newton's Cove.

Newton's Cove View has touches of luxury with solid bamboo floors, granite worktops in the kitchen and high-quality furnishings.

With full length windows in the sitting room diner, it is lovely to watch the sun rise over the cove whilst enjoying a morning cuppa.

The bright, spacious master bedroom is the perfect place to wake up feeling refreshed, ready for a day of adventures.

The second bedroom is just the place for the children to sleep well.

The property boasts a modern bathroom.

Based next to the beautiful Nothe Gardens with large open grassed areas, tall trees and attractive walks overlooking the coast, it is the perfect place to enjoy an afternoon walk after visiting the Nothe Tavern for a tasty meal.

A short stroll down from the apartment, leads you to the attractive Brewers Quay and Hope Square, which gives you many choices of dining opportunities, many have outside areas for an alfresco dining experience during the day or on a warm summers evening.

Strolling on through Hope Square, leads you to the pretty harbour side with its array of fishing boats and luxury yachts, offering a colourful and lively scene to enjoy.

As you cross over the bridge to the town centre, you are welcomed with a selection of well-known high street brands as well as quaint little lanes housing quirky independent shops, and local delicatessens.

The main beach, which is well known for its long golden sands and shallow waters is the perfect place to relax in the summer sun and enjoy the sea air. Situated in a great location, Newton’s Cove View is an ideal place to stay as a family or a couple of friends, wanting to enjoy the seaside town.
