    “This must be our 5th stay at Ocean Wave, we said before we went that this would be our final time and what did we do!”

    We booked again for next year. It is such a wonderful place to stay with a view to die for. We booked the beginning of October so we could walk our dog on the beach. We found our stay very comfortable, even having the apartment occupied upstairs didnt bother us this year. Coax cables on both TVs loose, managed to get main TV working but not the one in bedroom. We changed batteries in both remotes. When we came to leave, taking our ice blocks out of freezer we found they were nearly ...

    Thank you for booking again (and again!). We looked at the TV's for ourselves and yes, the reception was not good for some reason. We got a professional aerial company in and eventually we traced the fault to the booster in the lounge. This has now been replaced and the picture quality is back to normal. We are also replacing the integrated fridge freezer in the kitchen as although this is supposed to be frost free and the freezer fan does work, the fan keeps getting frozen up for some reason causing the freezer part of the unit to not work properly. Fingers crossed for some nice weather for your next stay with us. Property Owner

The property

A high standard, modern apartment backing onto Weymouth Esplanade. Ocean Wave boasts one of the finest uninterrupted, direct sea views in Weymouth.

The apartment is tastefully decorated and very comfortable throughout.

The modern, well equipped kitchen suits all needs.

The sitting room/ diner is comfortable for enjoying a tasty meal before being able to relax and put up your feet after a busy day walking along the esplanade.

The patio doors let the summer sun in and light up the room.

You have the choice of a king-size or twin bedroom. Your own personal, private garden gate leads onto the promenade and beach.

The garden, which is terraced and laid to patio and lawn, has a BBQ area. A brisk walk along the promenade in the early morning will set you up for the day.

From the patio you can observe the rising of the sun while you are eating your breakfast and watch the various sailing activities going on in the bay.

In the evening while you are sipping a cool glass of wine you can listen to the gentle lapping of the waves and view the twinkling lights around Weymouth Bay.

Weymouth offers a holiday for all ages and all tastes from sailing, windsurfing, cliff walks, bird watching, golden sands and a magical harbour.

Gourmet restaurants, coffeehouses and family eating venues are all nearby.

Ocean Wave is located on the sought-after quieter side of Weymouth close to Greenhill Gardens; only a 15 minutes level walk along the sea front to the town centre.

GREENHILL

Greenhill, is a pretty region of Weymouth notorious for it’s pretty pastel beach huts, beautiful gardens and pebbly beach. The beach at Greenhill is the perfect option for those seeking a quieter beach day away from the hustle and bustle of the traditional sandy beach day activities. There are a choice of beach side cafés as well as a pitch & putt that is adjacent to tennis courts. There are many Georgian houses which front onto the seafront and esplanade, along with many other historic buildings, enjoy the variety and extensive sea views as you stroll along the seafront. It’s a short 10-15-minute stroll from Greenhill into Weymouth main town centre, where you can find local independent shops tucked away in the side streets, surrounded by many high street favourites. Greenhill is the ideal location for people who want to be close to the centre without being in it.
