Another annual holiday in lovely Weymouth !

Our 16th stay in Dream View ! The accommodation is perfect for us - great location, look out of the window and see the sea ! Literally ! It's only a brisk 20 minutes walk along the prom to Weymouth itself, or the other way to Preston and Bowleaze Cove for a lovely coffee. The apartment itself is a gem, one large bedroom which overlooks the sea and one smaller bedroom which has twin beds in. The living room/dining room/kitchen is perfectly sized and has everything you need for a comfortable weeks stay. 5 stars for the owners Jane and Mike who leave you little treats and goodies which make your stay special. Thank you both for loaning us your flat again ! I can highly recommend the flat, but not for the week we stay, please ! Oh, and the weather was glorious. Sue, Tony and Helen Himycz.

We booked Dream View for 10 nights in July 2025.

Initial impressions were "Wow look at that view!". The flat is accessed by spiral staircase to the 1st floor, then a full flight of stairs up to the second floor. We were able to get in slightly earlier which was hugely appreciated. We met the owners upon arrival as they were also staying in the property at the same time. The flat was clean and tidy, with lovely bedding and towels. Being able to sit and watch the ocean was absolute bliss. The kitchen is fairly basic but had most of what we needed (including essentials like soap, washing up liquid, sponge etc). The washing machine in the cupboard was especially handy with two young children. A small suggestion would be to free up some cupboard space by removing a few of the extras like vases, Tupperware, and ice cream bowls, as we found there wasn’t much room for food or shopping. There were plenty of casserole dishes (enough to cook a roast!), but we couldn’t find some more everyday basics like a cheese grater. Nicer wine glasses and mugs would also be a lovely touch - just a little thing that can elevate the experience. A couple of fans would also be a huge benefit as the flat gets very hot. When we book a place, we really value a sense of privacy and space to fully unwind. At times during our stay, we felt a bit more interaction than we were expecting, as the owners needed to access the property to repair the stair rail, and drop off supplies for the next set of guests - this made it a little harder to fully relax. We definitely appreciate a warm welcome and support if needed, but we also enjoy being able to come and go quietly. Just wanted to share that gently in case it’s helpful for future guests. The flat is located in the Greenhill area, an easy 20 minutes walk from Weymouth town centre.

Dream View is perfect for walks on the beach, which is literally right outside the door ! The flat itself is immaculate, well maintained and a joy to stay in. Jane and Mike provide everything needed for a week to remember. This last week was our 15th visit as a family, so that should give anyone a reason to follow suit.

A lovely seaside apartment, with idyllic views across Weymouth Bay stretching for miles in either direction and keeping us entertained for hours, in bad weather and good!

We've never stayed anywhere so close to the sea that you can literally hear the waves lapping against the shore! The apartment is very comfortable, well-equipped and in a good location for exploring Weymouth and the surrounding area. The hosts have gone to a lot of trouble to ensure that guests have an enjoyable holiday and leave with happy memories of their stay.

Our second stay and just as fantastic as the first.

All you would want in a holiday let beautiful views and lucky for us fantastic weather. Will definitely be coming again.

Lovely clean apartment in the quiet area of Greenhill Weymouth, with lovely comfy beds and amazing views acrossthe bay.

You can listen to the waves crashing onto the beach or take a look at all the boats in the bay.(Can Google what ships in Weymouth bay). Walk the 15 mins to the Lovely sandy beach, harbour and arcades or there is a bus stop just left out of the apartment. Easy apartment to find with parking and use of court yard, everything we needed was available or lovely owners available if ever any issues.

Comfortable clean accommodation with amazing views.

Everything provided to make you feel home from home. Close to amenities and a lovely walk a long the seafront into Weymouth. The owners make you feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend this apartment

Dream View certainly lives up to its name!

We had a lovely welcome of fresh flowers cake and fresh milk from the lovely owners Jane and Mike.The place has everything you need and is very well thought out will loads of storage for all items of clothing as well as plenty of space for all the other stuff you need when on holiday.We had some useful information about what to do and where to go places to eat as well as interesting facts all from the owners.You can be as active or as lazy as you like as there are plenty of opportunities such as swimming paddle boarding kayaking etc.We will be returning to Dream View for sure as we have had many holidays in Weymouth but not as wonderful as this. You can sit up in bed and hear the sea and the view is amazing as well as the sunsets.It was lovely to hear the waves at night so relaxing.

This was our second visit to Dream View.

By way of recommendation, I can confirm we have already booked a third visit for next year. We were very pleased to find a bottle of wine and a Dorset apple cake waiting for us upon our arrival. Once again we enjoyed the stupendous views, the perfect location and the comfort and the amenities of the accommodation. All in all, a perfect stay!

This was our families 14th visit, which gives an indication of the quality of the property.

The location is fantastic - the main bedroom overlooks the beach - literally ! The flat is about 20 minutes walk one way to Weymouth town centre and 30 minutes walk the other way to Bowleaze Cove. Within easy reach of the Isle of Portland and the easy walking Rodwell trail. The flat is beautifully maintained by the owners Jane and Mike, who always leave fresh flowers, a cake and other goodies for your arrival. Cannot fault Dream View and can't wait to make it the 15th visit !

What a fantastic holiday apartment very clean with up to date decor and a fantastic view of Weymouth bay.

Ideally situated within a 20 minute or so walk to the town Center. As lots (all) of holiday makers before have said about this property would love to come back again.

Lives up to it's name of Dream View - something going on out of the window to watch all the time.

Flat was lovely, everything we needed was there. And loved the sound of the waves crashing on the beach all night. Really hope to return at some point.

An amazing apartment right on the sea front. Apartment was very comfortable with plenty of space for a family of four. The views are absolutely stunning and the light so bright! Was amazing to fall asleep every night to the sound of the waves.

Excellent facilities with all you need for a relaxing stay. Benefit of off road parking and easy flat walk into the centre of Weymouth. Very friendly hosts on site made you feel very welcome.

Dream view is a lovely apartment the views are stunning it was very clean and comfortable and quiet just the sound of the waves to send you off to sleep!

We can't wait to return! Weymouth has so much to offer and dream view is in an ideal location to explore the surrounding areas too ! Parking is good! be aware there are 2 flights of stairs up to the apartment one outside and one inside .hosts left a delicious Dorset fruit cake for us and also contacted us to ask if everything was ok which I thought was very thoughtful .

Having just spent our 13th stay at Dream View, it goes without saying that this place is good.

The location is fantastic - just a short walk to the town centre or the other way to Bowleaze Cove. Jane and Mike, the owners, do everything to make your stay fabulous - the flat overlooks the sea, it is very clean and modern - enough space for 4 people comfortably. We just keep coming back year after year !

The sea views were wonderful.

We enjoyed watching the sunrise over the sea from the bedroom window and sitting by the living room window watching the brave swimmers in the October waters. The flat was clean and well furnished. The bed was very comfortable. The location on the esplanade is great. We had several enjoyable walks to the centre of Weymouth in 15 to 20 minutes, or in the other direction to the cafe and cliff walk at the eastern end of the bay. The owners were friendly and had left a welcome pack of tea and cakes which we enjoyed.

The apartment was in a good position close to all amenities.

Clean and homely, amazing seaview. Owners made us feel very welcome. Lovely walk along the seafront into the town. Weymouth is a lovely place for everyone to have a good holiday.

The location of Dream View cannot be beaten.

Straight onto the beach for your swim. The views from main room and double bedroom are stunning. The flat is bright & beautifully decorated with seaside related decor. We loved it and have will return definitely. The only thing that would put people off is that there are a lot of stairs up to the flat that would be difficult for anyone who is not able to do stairs. Otherwise they are good beneficial exercise! The owners were very helpful.

Dream View is an amazing place to stay.

Out of this world sea views and you can hear the sea while lying in bed. It has parking and is set back from the road so you don’t hear the road. It is a 10/15minute walk along the beach to centre of Weymouth where you can watch the boats in the harbour, you can drive to Portland and watch sunset on Chesel Beach while eating fish and chips and do a whistle stop tour of the Jurassic coast, Fossil hunting in Lyme Regis, ice cream in Charmouth and a walk along the beach at West Bay. A fantastic place for a refreshing weekend away,

We stayed at Dream View between 26/9/2020 and 3/10/2020 and this was our 11th visit !

This apartment is a credit to the owners Jane and Mike who make sure you have a wonderful holiday. It is clean, airy and the views are incredible. Jane and Mike always leave little treats ( the Dorset Farmhouse Cake is fab ) and the Dorset tea and milk makes a welcoming cuppa on arrival. Weymouth is a lovely coastal town, very peaceful and relaxing - Dream View apartment just makes the whole holiday perfect.

Dream view is the phrase , you nod off to sleep listening to the waves lapping on the shore.

The apartment was very light and airy and pristine. Very comfy bed with sparkling white bed linen. Fabulous view across the bay , very entertaining just watching the cruise liners come and go. Take binoculars you will need them . Weymouth has something for everyone. We felt very safe there good social distancing etc. The cafes and restaurant were all very organized . The sea was a bit on the cold side but very shallow no rocks or weed invigorating you should try it.

The accommodation was very clean and comfortable with lovely sea views.

Weymouth was busy and bustling, and we visited many beauty spots on the Dorset coast, whilst enjoying the good weather.

Fantastic apartment, more than helpful owners who want you to have the best most comfortable stay, and the sea views from the apartment.

Have stayed at Dream View for 10 years.

Keep coming back every year without fail. The location is perfect. The view is fantastic from the bedroom and living room window. The cleanliness cannot be matched - that's why we keep coming back ! Jane and Mike always leave little treats for when we arrive - bottle of wine, cake and flowers ( and a bottle of milk too ) The weather has always been good to us but it let us down a bit this year, but we still enjoyed ourselves - Weymouth has a lot to offer - indoors or out. Cannot recommend this place enough - its like a home from home as we are made to feel so welcome ! Surely by now we can call ourselves honorary Weymouth folk.

Amazing place!

The twin bedroom gets very hot as only tiny window is able to open.

Brilliant welcome pack of Cake, wine and most of all a bottle of milk for that much needed first cuppa on arrival.

Fabulous apartment. Quiet, relaxing holiday one of the best we've had with Dream Cottages. Maybe potential clients should be made aware that there are a lot of steps up to the second floor of the apartment.

Dream View really lives up to it's name; the apartment is in a fantastic location a short walk from the centre of Weymouth with wonderful views across the bay. This was our 6th visit. Dream View is a wonderful property. Fantastic location. Flat light and airy. Wonderful sea views from main bedroom and lounge windows. About 20 minutes walk to Weymouth along coast to esplanade. Owners Jane and Mike are wonderful. They left ( this time ) flowers, cake, sweeties and wine! Their attention to detail is second to non. This was our first holiday as a family, We all felt at home as soon as we arrived. The sea is, just there, right out side of the window, our two toddlers were amazed! Dream View was our base as we ventured out everyday to experience Dorset. The Sea Life Adventure Park is virtually across the road. The apartment was spacious and light containing all the commodities you would expect in any home. 10 out of 10. Stayed September 2016

7th visit ! That says a lot. The flat is just what it says - dream view. Location great. Flat is always immaculate on arrival. Always treats and goodies to look forward to from Jane and Mike. The weather was good to us too ! We always have a lovely relaxed holiday here - that's why we keep coming back! Stayed September 2016

We had a super time at Dream view. I was worried about it being too hot during the heatwave it being a second floor flat, but I needn't have worried. It was 5 degrees cooler at night than back home and there was a lovely sea breeze so everyone slept fine! July 2018 Really well equipped flat and gorgeous views. Location was also perfect we thought for a stay in Weymouth- right on the pebble beach but quiet at night and close enough to walk to all the restaurants and attractions. Our 6 and 8 year old loved it. Wish we could have stayed longer. Stayed July 2018.
