Property is a great location clean and tidy.

Would benefit from a garden parasol, shower operating instructions and recycling instructions.

Left hand corner of lounge was in need of attention - damp, brown marks, flaking paint.

The garden also needed attention - gate broken, plants overgrown all along the path to gate, slabbed patio area needed weeding, very untidy. . Garden is crying out for a bird bath. Comfortable bed, bedding and linen were excellent. Kitchen provided everything needed.

Second time at this property with the grandchildren really serves us well but could do with a little revamp now to maintain fab high standard

On the property it is a lovely house, but some things need fixing to make it better.

some of the internal doors needs to be fixed so they shut properly. and in one bedroom the wardrobe doors need to be fixed. The property sits in a very good position, near to the sea and not far from Weymouth beach and shops. Local transport is very good to get around.

Blue Yonder certainly matched our expectations from the photographs and description on line.

Lovely views from the lounge and main bedroom window of the sea and across to Weymouth town and Portland in the distance. We loved watching a group of ladies bravely go for their early morning dip each day and 2 horses riders exercising on the beach at the cove in front of the property. Easy walking distance into Weymouth itself down the flat promenade with lots to see and do there. For nature lovers there's an added bonus of the Lodmoor Country Park with RSPB reserve across the road from the property. The property was very nicely furnished and dressed, clean but a little dusty in places but nothing that spoilt our stay. However one minor detail which cant be controlled by the owner was the early morning wake up call we heard every week day from the lady, who was obviously a permanent resident in the flat above, shouting at her kids to get up for school. It startled us the first morning but when we realised what was happening we turned over and went back to sleep. A minor irritation that didn't last that long each morning and it probably wont be heard during school holiday times. We loved our stay at Blue Yonder and would certainly return for another visit.

Beautiful property and have stayed many times.

Already booked for next year. Just a couple of things though.. the garage door is getting more difficult to close now and if not shut properly, it swings open. Also a shame no welcome pack is offered on arrival now. After a long 5 hour journey we couldn't make a drink as no milk, tea or coffee. Also as others have mentioned, PAT testing stickers on electrical items was due April 2025. Just small points though as this is truly a gorgeous property in a stunning location.

Great location, lovely big apartment , easy access.

Just a few minor things, bath plug did not work so unable to take a bath. Garage is really small we was unable to use that. We stay in a lot of holiday homes as we come to Dorset several times a year every other property we have stayed left us a little welcome pack like a small milk some biscuits etc, this property did not, it's the little gestures like this that make a difference.

Lovely spacious apartment, the sea view was perfect.

We had an issue with a faulty smoke alarm and this was fixed within a couple of hours. We have no complaints and have rebooked for next year.

My family and I loved staying at Blue Yonder, This is a huge apartment which took us by a lovely surprise.

We go to Weymouth every year for holidays and this is the best accommodation we have stayed in for the money so far. Fantastic view from the garden, Well recommended, Peter P.

Brought some friends for a trip to my home town.

We had the best time in the flat, it is massive, comfortable, clean, well equipt and the location is brilliant. I love greenhill as the beach is great for swimming. The garden could do with a fettle as the path is covered in the giant daisys (which look lovely). The beds were super comfy and the rooms were cool in the heat. Parking is easy and although the beach road is busy, had no probs getting on and off. Defo stay again.

Comfortable enough beds. Quite clean (excepting the grubby gas hob, which also has a malfunctioning self-igniter. You need matches). Decent amount of utensils. Please note: the large casserole pan is shedding small specs of teflon which we noticed when drying it: potential health concern. The small cartons of UHT milk were about 10 months past their use by date. The right hand french door to the garden has a temperamental lock; on a number occasions it failed to lock from the inside, remedied by locking from the outside to free-up the mechanism.

We had a lovely stay, the apartment was in the perfect location, the sea at the end of the garden, with garden furniture and lovely flowers, so listening to the sea 24/7 was amazing.

added bonus of a garage and parking for 2 cars. we didn't use our car as the local transport was perfect and local amenities were within walking distance. just a few issues, cleanliness, especially the kitchen sink, floor and toilet bowl. The bathroom shelves had ring marks, very dusty and same on the window sills in the lounge, i got some cleaner and they came off, rest of the apartment was clean but some places dusty, some of the cutlery i had to put in the dishwasher as they were dirty, the rest of the apartment was ok but was not expecting to arrive and start cleaning, after paying over £1,100 for the week. The apartment had everything you needed and there was a tray of tea, coffee and milk but the little cartons of milk went out of date August 2024. My husband noticed the PAT testing stickers on the plugs went out of date April 2025. I was going to book again, but noticed that the booking is now Friday to Friday, with an extra charge if you book from Saturday to Saturday, due to work commitments we would in effect loose one days holiday. Another problem we had was there is a window in the bathroom that doesn't open but must lead to the outside somewhere, pigeons roosted here on a daily basis and could be quite loud in the early hours of the morning.

3rd stay at Blue Yonder.

It offers everything you need for a perfect holiday. Super comfy beds... super comfy sofas ... and beautiful views. A lovely stroll out the garden gate along sea front into Weymouth. The bonus of garage and parking space is perfect. On a personal note, I would prefer shower cubicle rather than shower over bath as this would then be even more suitable for guests with mobility issues... also a tumble drier would be good. This said, the apartment is just wonderful and already booked for two weeks in October.

This is a stunning property in a beautiful location.

We stayed Christmas week and the fresh Christmas displays and tree were just beautiful. Garage is a real bonus with this property although hardly use the car here as its location means lovely walks. Have already booked again for this year. The only thing I would prefer would be a walk in shower rather than a shower over the bath but that's just a personal preference. It's a beautiful homely property which is hard to leave when the holiday is over.

We absolutely loved our stay at Blue Yonder.

It was clean, comfortable, well-equipped and in a wonderful location. Parking space was a real bonus and we were able to walk into town comfortably, which meant we didn't need to be taking the car out often. We will definitely be returning.

Fabulous apartment in stunning location.

When we booked this, the description stated washer/dryer.. however there is no dryer and description has since been amended. Also it did not state there are four steps along the path from garage to the front door.. which was tricky with a wheelchair user. You can access the property from the patio doors but be aware there is a step up. Could not get gas hobs to light but Dream Cottages delivered a gas lighter within hours. Does not appear to be a key to lock garage doors but didn't use garage as a bit tight. Lovely comfy beds and living room sofa. Looking forward to our week there over Christmas.

Lovely holiday accommodation , very well equipped and beautifully furnished.

The walk to the centre of Weymouth was a bit more than 15 mins , which I think is what it said in the brochure but maybe we are slow. It was an easy walk though. Couldn't find a hair drier but that was the only thing that seemed to be missing. Would stay there again

Beautiful cottage not really a fault but could do with high dusting to get rid of cobwebs.

Toilet also could do with replacing as not sure cleaning would rid of the stained bowl. But these things didn’t bother us just very minor points. Really is a lovely space though

The property is wonderful, with good facilities and a great place for a holiday.

Very well equipped and in good order. Thank you. A couple of maintenance issues. The bathroom had a lot of little flies in it and was quite smelly when we arrived. The top drawer of the chest of drawers in the 2nd bedroom is stuck shut. If these had both been good, it would have been perfect.

We enjoyed every minute of our time at blue yonder.

The apartment was clean, beautifully decorated and perfect for all our needs. The garden could not have been better, no need to be on the beach, you can hear and see the sea from the garden and if you fancy a swim it’s literary across the road. A short 15 min stroll takes you into the town and harbour with shops bars and restaurants so blue yonder is the place to be.

Fantastic location with access to the beach.

Great to have parking as often when we stay in Weymouth we don’t. The apartment was clean and well equipped. A few minor niggles including a horrendous stain in the bottom of the toilet - this really needs replacing. The main issue though was the light curtains in both bedrooms. They didn’t block the light out at all which in June is not conducive to a good nights sleep. A shame as the beds were comfortable.

In an absolute lovely position with the beach at the bottom of your garden ….

.literally. It was lovely to open the curtains and see the blue sea and hear the gentle waves. We had a really nice holiday with everything you need around you and within walking distance, 10-15 mins leisurely walk to the town along the esplanade. Facilities in the apartment were good, plenty of cutlery, plates. cups, glasses, pots and pans. Sofas and beds comfortable. On first appearance our duvets seemed more like a blanket as they were very thin. However, we were not cold so they did the job (suspect maybe a summer duvet) but they did lack the comfort with being so thin. My only criticism really was the bathroom. The sink cabinet is too big or positioned incorrectly which gave you little room around the toilet. The bathroom also got very wet despite there being a fan which made the floor slippy. My personal preference would be a shower cubicle to give the bathroom more space but appreciate some people like a bath. I would have preferred a small tv in the bedrooms and maybe a couple of blankets in the living room and a bucket to go with the mop but again this is personal preference. All in all we had an amazing holiday in a great location in one very comfortable house. Weymouth is a very clean and lovely place to visit. We would definitely return and look forward to coming back!

Lovely flat really enjoyed our stay with good quality and well maintained furnishings, however, sadly three items niggled, the dishwasher did not work (found out on last night of stay), The garage door appeared to be propped open by a ladder rammed in to hold it up, and a minor issue with the bathroom wash basin tap probably needs new washer as not easy to turn off and the pop up plug would not go down.

Apart from these minor issues it was a great location and we will be back.
