Knapp Cottage

The knapp was perfect!

Great location and home from home. Also changing the bedding after the first week I thought was great and the provisions provided for when we arrived was very nice. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you.

Fabulous cottage!

We arrived to find a cottage that was spotlessly clean and had all the facilities you would need for a comfortable holiday. The kitchen was well appointed and the lounge comfortable and welcoming. The kids were delighted to find Sky TV! The conservatory/dining room was lovely with the venetian blinds ready to hide the afternoon and evening sunshine. I loved the garden with it's pretty planters and borders. I notice that some reviewers commented on the road noise, but I didn't find it too intrusive. The bedrooms were lovely - my only complaint would be that one of the double beds was far too soft for me but that's only personal preference. The bathroom was again spotlessly clean. The shower could do with a little more oomph behind it though but your at the mercy of the local water pressure so it's no deal breaker. The local area is beautiful. There is a local pub very close by which has good food. Don't be put off by the property details stating the pub is so close though as we never heard any noise from it at all. Infact we never heard any noise at all. Overall it was a fantastic cottage and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend

The cottage was perfect for our stay and we couldn’t have asked for more.

Lovely comfy and clean cottage.

Great base for exploring the Jurassic coast and walks in the beautiful countryside. Friendly neighbours. Would definitely return, thank you.

Beautiful comfortable relaxing cottage, well located for sight seeing, the ceiling fans in bedrooms were brilliant, thank you very much Yours sincerely Frank and Christine

Lovely old cottage.

Beautifully renovated. Spotless. Well appointed. Good parking. Pleasant outlook. Comfortable and relaxing.

Lovely cottage, perfectly positioned to get to all of the tourist attractions.

Comfortable with all the amenities you need.

Please supply oven gloves .

No WC cleaner to use. With 4 guests essential kit. The conservatory chairs are in need of repair. The cottage is lovely and and tastefully furnished. The shower is excellent which puts many places to shame. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Thanks for the wine etc.

The cottage was well maintained and comfortable the cleanliness was exceptional.

The owners had left welcoming gifts which were very much appreciated. The location was perfect. We enjoyed exploring the area with so much on the doorstep. We also ate in the two local pubs which were within walking distance and enjoyed the lovely fresh eggs we’d purchased from a local property. A slight negative to a perfect rental is there is a busy B road at the back of the property which I mention although it didn’t bother us too much. But might others if you’re planning on writing a novel in the garden. Would definitely go back again.

Great cottage for a holiday near Weymouth.

The house is very comfortable and clean. Lovely friendly neighbours (and owner if you get to meet her!)

We can not fault the cottage at all.

It was comfy and clean and had easy access to local amenities. The neighbours were friendly and welcoming. The hosts had provided milk, coffee, teabags and treats for our arrival which was a very welcome surprise after our long journey. There is a lovely walk down to the fleet and worth a visit.

Knapp Cottage is a home away from home.

Comfortable, clean and with a number of extra touches from the hosts, it was perfect for our relaxing break away. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds comfy and the garden a sun trap. Great location for getting to everywhere too, with a pub 50 yards away! We had a great stay in this lovely cottage.

Perfect and comfortable home in great condition and close to countryside walks, pubs and Weymouth.

Only suggestion I have is perhaps the addition of a nespresso machine.

Knapp cottage was outstanding, perfect for our family group with all the facilities we needed.

In a great setting and a fantastic area.

We had a fabulous time staying here.

It felt like a real home from home, not like a holiday home at all. We were blessed with good weather, that helped. We really appreciated the extra touches, like ceiling fans in the bedroom, refreshments - a lovely bottle of wine, also tea, coffee, milk, sugar. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook if we wanted. Yes the road noise is there, but we expected that and booked anyway. Everything was so comfortable and cared for. Garden was nicely planted, not always the case when in a holiday home. I was happy to water. Neighbours were all very friendly and helpful. I would definitely book again

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Knapp Cottage.

It was a delightful cottage. Very clean and well presented a home from home. The cottage is very nicely furnished with absolutely every thing you need. Beds are very comfortable and lovely views out over the countryside to wake up to when you open the bedroom curtains and see the horses grazing in the fields. Good parking facilities also which is a bonus. The reason for the four stars is the slight drawback of the noisy road at the back of the property . We arrived during the rush hour and it was pretty busy and therefore quite noisy if the french doors were open. You do get used to it though therefore it wouldn't put us off booking here again although we didn't use the garden during our stay. Couple of nice local pubs nearby and everything including Weymouth town and seafront within short car journey. All in all a very good holiday cottage in nice location.

This is a lovely cottage with a good sized TV in the main lounge with very comfortable seating.

The beds were also very comfortable. Only drawback is the garden is small and next to a moderately busy B road.

It was a beautiful house everything was perfect.

Thank you. Rosie and Nigel
