Honeypot Cottage

Lovely cottage.

Everything you need, comfortable, cozy, great location. Would definitely go back! We felt it needed a few things: A dustpan and brush, a cafetiere or French press type of coffee maker, an additional tea towel for drying dishes and a way to unlock and open the kitchen windows.

Perfect location for pubs walks and coffee shops.

Clean, tidy and would stay again.

Just a few things missing.

1. No hooks or any clothes storage facilities in the top rear bedroom. 2. No hooks in bathroom for clothes. 3. No instruction booklet for any appliance. ( we had difficulty with the heating) 4. Slight difficulty with finding the property. No mention of the alleyway in which the propoperty was situated.

This lovely, well presented cottage is ideally situated in the middle of Swanage town centre and nearby sea front.

We liked that it was tucked behind the library, this gave it some privacy. The front room, though small, is OK and the dining area is big enough for a family to eat comfortably. The kitchen is well equipped, we used the slow cooker to enjoy a meal after a day out. The bathroom is huge, loved it! The bedrooms were lovely and the beds extremely comfy. The steep stairs to the top floor bedrooms were quite a challenge and maybe a grab rail at the top would be useful. The one thing we did find awkward was parking. The one space at the side of the cottage was occupied 24/7 by the local butcher's van, so we had to unpack the car and then find a car park at extra cost for the week.

Really greatful to have been able to stay here, the home was well layed out and in a beautiful location.

Absolutely lovely little cottage in perfect location.

Great outside area and beds comfy. Very clean and tidy when we arrived and welcome book had very good info in. The only thing was no oven gloves which wasn’t ideal and would have thought should be provided but did not spoil our fabulous time in Swanage. Will more than likely book again.

We had a wonderful stay at Honeypot Cottage.

The location is perfect; a stones throw from the beach, amid the shops and plenty of great places to eat, and yet privately hidden away. It is beautifully decorated, and well equipped with everything you would need for a holiday. The beds are extremely comfy too!

The cottage had been done up beautifully and everything was really lovely, we had a wonderful time. The beds were very comfy and the shower was great, it's lovely to have such a huge bathroom! It was so peaceful and had everything that we needed, we wished we were staying longer! Our only feedback would be that it would be really helpful to have some storage in the twin and smaller double room - there was plenty of space for a chest of drawers or hanging rail (especially if the locked yellow cabinet in the small double moved into the bathroom or something) and it would make such a difference. Thanks so much for a lovely break and we hope to come back again one day!
