    “1) Needs a deep clean.”

    2) Difficult to regulate central heating at the cottage. 3) Limited vegan / vegetarian options at menus in pubs in the village. All of the above have already been noted in the Comments book at the property.

The property

Located in the popular coastal village of Burton Bradstock in Dorset is this charming little holiday cottage.

A beautiful and well-equipped cottage style kitchen with a cosy sitting room complete with dining table for two to enjoy a romantic meal.

Sit and enjoy a drink together in the enclosed secluded patio area.

Dormouse is perfectly positioned to discover Burton Bradstock and visit the famous Hive beach café or enjoy a meal in one of the local pubs.

If you enjoy walking you could ramble along one of the many local coastline walks or take a drive to West Bay, which is less than two miles away, gives you a chance to discover the colourful fishing harbour and to sample some of the provincially caught crabs and lobsters.

A visit to historic Abbotsbury is highly recommended and is only a short drive away, after you have paid a visit to the sub-tropical gardens and Swannery, explored the village you can continue your journey along the coast road spanning the whole of the Chesil beach and breath-taking views of the coastline from the top of Abbotsbury Hill. The ideal position for exploring all across Dorset, Dormouse cottage is the perfect cottage for a break.

A wonderful coastal village in Bride Valley on Dorset's picturesque Jurassic Coast, flanked by the River Bride. Burton Bradstock is the perfect spot for a peaceful break on England's south coast, with the South West Coastal Path running alongside for you walking enthusiasts. The village itself boasts 16th and 17th century thatched cottages as well as two pubs, a shop and a Post Office, the glistening Hive Beach is a wonderful spot to spend the summer days with the magnificent cliffs as a backdrop, there is also a lovely café to sit and relax in, once a year the Spring Tide Festival is held which would be worth lining up your holiday with! There are many attractions and activities to enjoy around here, with the stunning coastal resort of Weymouth making for an excellent day out. Alternatively, head inland to Dorchester and Yeovil for great shopping, architecture, eating and drinking.

The inglenook is for display only and cannot be used. Some of the ceilings and thresholds in Dormouse are a little low in keeping with the age of the cottage.
Stairs are very steep with narrow treads, only one handrail, low front door.
