What guests are saying
Loved June cottage so much I have just re-booked for 2027 !
It is beautifully furnished and decorated. Everything you needed for comfort and relaxation-I made good use of the massage chair and recliner .Garden is a sun trap and full of colour-perfect for sunny breakfast outside .Excellent standard of cleaning and a welcome tray .Beds and bedding were so comfy. We visited local attractions -tea room at the Blue Pool was a special treat. Look forward to staying again.
This is a well presented property which acts as a comfortable base for exploring the area.
There are bus and train services within easy walking distance for those wanting to make use of them. The property was clean and well equiped. It is also an ideal property for those with mobility issues, as the downstairs has handrails and it is easy to access the downstairs bedroom / toilet and shower. It is well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Bed upstairs was a little soft and some of the chairs in the lounge not quite so comfortable if tall, but these are more down to personal choice that anything else. The Wifi was good, although could maybe do with a 'Freely' TV as the normal reception is pretty weak and unreliable. Easy to park outside and access the back of the property, sensor lights in the stairway and outside are all good ideas and the welcome drinks and biscuits a nice little appreciated bonus. It is close to the main road and railway but you can't hear much from either when inside. All appliances worked well and were clean and tidy. All in all, the property provided a solid foundation for a nice little family break.
We had an issue with TV - contacted caretaker - owner came round - unable to resolve - engineer attended and fixed problem.
Caretaker and owners response brilliant.
