Situated close to the UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic Coast and close to popular beaches and coastal walks, this is an ideal retreat for a couple or small family looking to enjoy getaways at any time of the year.
The contemporary interior is complimented by quality furnishings and personal touches throughout. The spacious living area is an ideal space for the family to relax with the adjoining kitchen fitted with everything needed for creating tasty meals and getting the family together around the dining table. The rear courtyard garden with a patio area and outdoor furniture is perfect for enjoying some alfresco dining or for those moments when you just want to sit quietly with a book and cold drink. Upstairs, the two bedrooms; a double and a single bedroom are both tastefully furnished with the shower room, with stylish walk in shower, also located on this floor.
Bridport offers visitors a great choice of shops cafes and restaurants, a twice weekly street market as well as some fascinating attractions, many of which celebrate the heritage and art influences in the town. Palmers Brewery, England’s only thatched brewery, offers tours showcasing its ales made to a centuries old process. Bucky Doo Square is the town's heartbeat with regular music and performances being enjoyed during the acclaimed Saturday market. With stalls and producers visiting from around the local area to sell unique gifts and delicious food and drink. West Bay, often referred to as Bridport Harbour since it is situated only 1.5 miles south of Bridport. With two beaches West Bay is a popular location for beach goers and for those keen to take to the water, the Lyme Bay Rib Charter offers a fast full-throttle experience and wonderful views of the iconic coastline. Other popular day trips include Lyme Regis with its famous Cobb Harbour and family friendly beach or Charmouth with its Heritage Centre where you can learn about the Jurassic Coast and the areas rich geology, joining one of the guided fossil walks and trying your hand at finding your very own ammonites. Set in a vibrant market town 8 Biddlecombe Orchard is a wonderful base from which to explore this beautiful part of Dorset, any time of the year.

We were generally pleased with accommodation as it matched up with the information given and with what we saw online.
Our only concern related to the two televisions. It took quite some time to find out how to operate the main TV in the lounge as the instructions were of no help at all & it was more by luck that we were managed to get the channels we wanted. The smaller TV in the kitchen was far more difficult and despite trying for ages to try to get it working we were unsuccessful. Again we found the instructions of no help.We did leave a note for the owner explaining that we could not get the smaller TV to work.
Good short break helped by the perfect weather.
House generally good and welcome pack very helpful thank you. We were a bit surprised by the amount of road noise that meant it was difficult to hear the TV in the evening with windows open ( necessary due to the heat). Looking at the road on google streetview makes it look like a small lane but it was surprisingly busy. Lack of curtains in the bedrooms meant we were woken each morning at 5am due to the amount of light coming in from the blinds, which is obviously not what you want when on holiday. I would also suggest more towels should be provided as with no washing machine, we were unable to freshen them up mid stay. Overall the house is comfortable and well located with parking ( a definite bonus) but the issues with the blinds and road noise means I can only give a 4 star rating.
The property was exceptional Well equipped and very clean Ideally situated being a short walk to Bridport and West Bay Short drives to Seaton, Lyme, Dorchester.
Had a wonderful Holiday and look forward to a return visit.
