What guests are saying
Grassroots is a lovely lodge hidden behind the garden centre.
We had a lovely comfortable week, the weather was great and we used the hot tub daily. Misha and Ben were great and always there to chat and help. The animals were a bonus and sat and watched them from the balcony. The cafe on site served lovely food. Will go back.
Nice, peaceful and relaxing place to stay.
Hosts were on call if needed but not intrusive. Nice to see the pony and alpacas on your doorstep. Everything you need was provided eg kitchen supplies, towels, etc.
Lovely lodge, enjoyed the hot tub.
Very accommodating hosts. Couldn't get on with the patio doors which were very stiff and we couldn't lock, this was pointed our on arrival. It's a pity the outlook from the verandah is piles of logs/rubbish, but beyond that the lovely valley. Lovely to watch the animals though. We would probably return in the future. Air con was also a bonus. A complimentary toilet roll would be very welcome!
