Thanks for the feedback and so glad you enjoyed your holiday. You are spot on, the location and off road parking as such a bonus. Again spot on the en-suite shower is a bit small, but it is still a bonus to have such a large bathroom and the en-suite in a two bedroom property. We will take a look at the sofa next time we are there, it was replaced 18 months ago, but will of course change it again if needed. Thanks for the feedback, we did have a breadbin until the start of this year and felt that is wasn't really being used, and so utilised the space to add the Air Fryer instead. The Dishwasher tablets are automatically supplied by the company that do the cleaning. We do totally take your points, we thank you for the positive feedback, and are so pleased that you enjoyed your holiday.

We spent a lot of time in the winter updating the kitchen appliances and added the air fryer and Tassimo to add to the customer experience. You are spot on with the allocated parking, the ground floor positioning and the location (being so close to town), they are all huge bonuses. Sadly we have no influence with regards to the drive and the road outside, this would be the local authority and the management company. The high chair is always in the property as we have a legal obligation for guests with young children and safety is of absolute paramount importance. We will get the maintenance and cleaning teams to take a look at the oven, and once again thank you, and so pleased to read that you enjoyed your holiday. Michelle and Andy

Thanks for the predominantly positive feedback, I am so pleased that you found the beds comfortable, the location and the vicinity. You are right the location is so quiet and yet just a short walk into town, and the off road parking is a real bonus in Weymouth. I am sorry that you didn't find the settee comfortable, we replaced it last year and this is the only negative feedback received. We are looking to replace the two bucket chairs this winter and so thank you for flagging that issue. The shower is a tough one, as the en suite is a bonus really in a two bedroom flat, and the shower in there is useable but I agree is small, the main bathroom is much bigger though and has a full size bath and shower. Just touching on the tumble drier, there actually is one in the property, the washing machine is a washer drier, whenever we stay we always use the washer drier, and then just "finish off" the drying by the radiator in the entrance. I'm also sorry to read that you "smelt a bit of damp", this is the first time anyone has stated this. We spent a lot of money over the winter repainting the entire property, and I know that the cleaning team and maintenance team inspect the property every week at changeover, and so I will ask them to check for me. Thank you for taking the time to feedback, and we are so pleased that the cleanliness , the linen was of the highest standards, and that the bed was comfortable and most importantly that you had another lovely holiday. Just touching on the other feedback, I totally understand that the doors are a little heavy, but they are fire doors that are of absolute paramount importance for safety. There are two locks and in truth whenever we stay we don't use the deadlock, it is perfectly safe and secure. From memory the windows can open from both the top or from the bottom, I cleaned and oiled all of the windows late last year and believe they can be opened both ways. Finally and again I totally understand the comments with regards to the en suite, it is a tough call to squeeze an en suite into a 2 bedroom flat, I presume this was a factor that the builder and architect looked at when building the property, it is small but it is functional and the main bathroom is very close. Anyway thank you once again for your honest feedback, and you would be most welcome to holiday with us again.

Many thanks for taking the time to offer your feedback. We are so lucky with the location, it is a lovely short walk into town. The flat is as you say modern and spacious, with two good size bedrooms and the two bathrooms. Please accept my apologies with regards to the cobwebs, the property is so popular and is booked up for every week between March and November, we have a deep clean booked for early November and then throughout the quieter winter months we repaint, and try to improve the overall property. The bathroom will be receiving some attention this winter. Again, thank you for the feedback, we are so pleased that you had a good holiday, and you would be most welcome to holiday with us again.

Many thanks for the feedback, and genuinely sorry and concerned to read your thoughts. At the start of the season we purchased a really sturdy coat stand for the hallway to facilitate coats and jackets and so I am a little concerned if that has been removed. Similarly we replaced all of the crockery and cutlery at the start of the season. I will contact the cleaning team to check on the over all quality of the cleaning and in particular the crockery. That is a really useful comment about the mirror in the bedroom and an easy win, we will happily plan for some additional power points or an extension lead. Similarly the lighting in the communal entrance and corridor is the responsibility of the maintenance company employed by the freeholder, and so I will happily raise this with them. Many thanks for the feedback, we have received two comments recently about lack of space for hanging coats, we purchased a really sturdy coat stand at the start of the season and so a little concerned if this has been removed. We always compile a list of jobs or improvements to be made throughout the winter and servicing all of the windows will be added. We have holidayed at Marina Reach ourselves frequently and have never spotted any problems with cupboard doors, but we would be more than happy to ask the maintenance team to check and action any issues. The lighting in the communal entrance has been reported to the freeholder of the building who employ a third party to handle the maintenance. Hi Jennifer, many thanks for the feedback it is always very much appreciated. thank you for your continued support, and we are so pleased that you enjoyed your holiday. You are spot on with regards to the location, it is very quiet but still a short walk into town, the parking space is important too, as there aren't too many private parking spaces in Weymouth. Thanks for flagging up about the bath panel and shower door, alongside the broken light and torn curtain (it really is good to hear these things), We only bought the property at the start of last year, having (as you) previously stayed there as visitors, and invested in a repaint, replacing the en suite, replacing the sofa alongside a few other tasks. This winter we will be similarly looking at where we can improve, we had pencilled in the curtains, and so we will add the bath panel, shower door and light fixture to the list. We have been absolutely blown away with the huge interest in our property and it has been let every single week between March and through until late October. We haven't even had a chance to get down ourselves since May. This time last year we hadn't had a single booking for the following year, whilst this year we already have a dozen, and so we are going to factor in a couple of deep cleans, throughout the season. We replaced the showers last winter we only wish we could have found a little more space in the ensuite, but sadly not able too. We were so sorry to read that you didn't find the seating comfortable, again based on feedback last year we replaced all of the seating in the spring and this is the first negative comments we have read, and so please accept our apologies and we will investigate on our next visit. Hi Norma, many thanks for taking the time to offer your feedback, and we are genuinely sorry to read that your holiday didn't live up to your expectations, but thank you nonetheless for the 75% over all review. Just looking at your comments, we are genuinely stunned at the comments surrounding damp, as the property is only 15 years old, and we prepped, and painted throughout over the winter with no comments of any damp issues by the tradesmen. The property was only painted throughout in February and so I wonder if there was a lingering smell of paint. Similarly the heating is only a couple of years old and as part of our holiday let criteria is tested yearly. We actually spend our holidays there in the winter months and the heating is more than adequate and can be adjusted to suit. Just touching on the settee. that is brand new and was only built and delivered in February of this year, and so again please accept our apologies if it wasn't to your liking. Finally and unfortunately we cannot influence the communal entrance, but will happily feed back, and genuinely surprised that you feel that the property is basic. All descriptions are written by Sykes/Dream Cottages with a list of criteria, furnishings and fittings that must be supplied. These are reviewed every year. We are visiting our property again next week and will happily check and review all of your comments again, and act on any work that needs undertaking. Again thank you for your feedback. Hi Cheryl, I'm so sorry to read that, and genuinely sorry that you had to cut your holiday short. The appartment has been let for every single week since we bought it in February, and this is the only time anyone has mentioned the beds being damp. Hi Jane, thank you so much for the honest feedback, it is very much appreciated. We have fed back the comments with regards to the cleanliness with Dream Cottages who facilitate the cleaning. The issue with the heating in the shower has been addressed, and great shout with regards to the coat hooks, we are not in Weymouth ourselves until November, but we will look to add them whilst there. We only bought the property in February of this year, and planned on looking at the seating in the winter, we have planned to meet with Dream Cottages whilst there in November and look at the best options that will appeal to the widest audience.
