What guests are saying
The Chocolate Box is a beautiful little house and has been thoughtfully modernised.
It was very clean and comfortable and had everything you require for a holiday stay. We were unfortunate that building work was going on behind us, so we were unable to use the garden. It was quite noisy and the language from the builders was quite colourful ( they had no respect for the children next door or others around them). And also the people picking up the kids for school decided to hoot their horn in the driveway right under our bedroom window in the mornings at 7.30am. But of course these things cant be helped! We did find the duvets a bit thick and heavy. I must admit I would prefer layers to be able to adjust your comfort. That would be easier rather than one heavy duvet. All in all though, We had a fantastic stay. Very cosy and met all our needs. The owner has a fantastic taste in decor and has made it very homely. The house is only a 2 minute walk from the park and 10 minutes from shops and bars. It's in a fantastic location. We would certainly stay again. Thank you!
Been before so know the place Think the freezer needs cleaning or defrosting Front wooden door ready for replacement Will stop again
The first thing we noticed about the property was how clean it was.
It even smelled clean! It is well equipped and comfortable, with everything you need for your stay and more. The enclosed garden area is brilliant our dog loved it, and we had peace of mind knowing he was secure. Altogether we had a great holiday.
