Description

Subtly hidden away close to the locally well know beauty spot in Weymouth called Bincleaves this detached character property is situated. A sociable kitchen opens onto a bright dining area / conservatory with an attractive roof terrace. The property benefits from a downstairs bedroom and shower room, so may be ideal for guests who are less able. A walk across Bincleaves Green along the cliff tops to the Nothe Gardens, then around to the harbour makes for an unforgettable experience. The first floor balcony of the lodge have views that span across from Weymouth Bay and over Weymouth itself where you can see the famous 'White Horse' and 'Hardy's Monument' in the far distance.

The main sandy beach in Weymouth town centre is within a short walking distance, however the less well known but in some ways more attractive beach at Sandsfoot, with its Robinson Crusoe appeal is perhaps the nearest one being roughly an eight minutes' walk away. A short cut through down the footpath directly opposite the property brings you to within a two-minute walk of Hope Square. Here you can enjoy a variety of restaurants, tea rooms and pubs. Heading through the square you will reach the pretty Old Harbour. A very well presented lodge that offers you a peaceful stay, but within easy distance of all the fun that Weymouth has to offer.

The property was located in a nice position with walking distance to the town.

The bedding and towels were good and looked new but only one tea towel available. There was a nasty smell coming from the stench pipe in the en-suite and the outside area from the conservatory doors was unkept and needed sweeping. We looked for a broom to clear the debris ourselves but failed to find one. The kitchen tap is leaking from the base and running to the back of the worktop, the filter was broken in the kettle and some ceiling lights not working.

What a gem of a accommodation on first impression it was beautifully clean but when we looked carefully above head height it had cobwebs and the dust was quit bad too we had a clean up our selves and it was perfect , two adults and four children fitted in with room to spare .

There was also a veranda and there was Brocken glass on it and one of the children cut his foot but this was soon sorted with a clean up . The comment above sounds bad but it wasn’t at all this is in a perfect location and the small problems were soon sorted it is a gem of a place and I would recommend it

Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an in dem Haus wohl gefühlt.

Es ist gemütlich, großzügig, gute Raumeinteilung. Hell, ruhig. Gute Ausstattung.
