The king-size bedroom offers a tranquil spot to rest with a TV and plenty of storage, while the twin room, also with a TV, is perfect for children or friends sharing. The property also benefits from a shower room, featuring a shower cubicle, where you can freshen up each morning or wash your sandy adventures away in the evenings. Outside there is a westerly facing front terrace, with furniture, a lovely spot for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening tipple. Additionally, there is a small rear courtyard with furniture and a washing line. Venture outside the inviting Garibaldi Cottage and immerse yourself in the charming locale with a short stroll to Weymouth Harbour, home to fishing vessels and majestic yachts; perhaps explore Nothe Fort for a peek into local history. Enjoy an excellent selection of restaurants, cafes and bars, to suit all tastes, in the vibrant Harbour area. Visit the stunning Weymouth Beach, awarded the prestigious Blue Flag status, perfect for a day of sun, sea, and sandcastle building, featuring the lively Punch and Judy and a traditional Helter Skelter for added nostalgia. Stroll through the beautifully manicured and vibrant Greenhill Gardens for a peaceful afternoon or take the family for a fun-filled day at the Sea Life Centre, where you can explore fascinating marine life. Just back from two week stay at this lovely cottage.
Very well maintained and comfortable. Kitchen had all the equipment you needed. Nice seating area at front of property to enjoy a glass of wine after day out. We did however find the stairs very steep and think perhaps a handrail on the other side would be helpful. Also steps into bathroom - perhaps small grabrail could be fitted. Cottage in good location 10 min walk to the bridge. Handy for Asda but could hear delivery vans being loaded up as early as 5.30 am on some mornings. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend a stay in this cottage.
Have no hesitation in recommending this property.
As you enter the gate a beautiful floral display with table and chairs is a feast for the eye. On entering the property it is like home from home, everything you would want is in this property. The only thing I would say is if you are elderly like we are the stairs are very steep and quite narrow, had to come down sideways, one at a time holding on to the spindles or bannister. Apart from this perfect property. A 10 minute flat walk takes you to the the shops or railway station. ASDA is literally 50 yards away but we encountered no noise but very handy for shopping.
As last year, house very nice and had all essentials needed.
