This was our 2nd stay in this immaculate apartment.

It is perfectly situated for access to the town and all that Weymouth offers. The only downside is how visible we were inside to the cruise shuttle buses stopping immediately under the flat. Both the Sunday and Monday we had them all day. 4 thousand passengers on the disney ship and 1.5 thousand on a fred Olson ship. The tour guide greeted every bus with " Welcome to sunny Weymouth " in a very loud voice right under the window!!! I appreciate that it brings 10 million pounds worth of tourism to the town but surely something can be done to locate this drop off somewhere else, perhaps the Swannery car park ? Some net curtains would help with some privacy perhaps

The accommodation was lovely.

Comfy beds. Nice balcony with sun in the late afternoons. Really great location but the road is noisy so with windows open was not quiet. There is construction traffic going past all day and cruise bus drop off is right outside so that day was noisy. Windows shut you don’t hear the noise. There is a lift. Good parking. 100m walk to lovely swim and few mins walk to harbour. Would stay again.

It is indeed a wonderful apartment...new & clean and perfect for a small family (2 adults and 1 child). The location could not be better, essentially everything within walking distance. There was no need to move the car, and parking is also how it ought to be. BUT! There is a bus stop directly under the two sleeping rooms and the balcony. We had to learn that this is a designated drop-off point for passengers arriving on the cruise ships. These buses are double decker buses with a perfect view into the rooms and another perfect view across the balcony into the living room. The noise level is not acceptable as there is a bus constantly (!) waiting at the stop with the engine running. Bus drivers talk loudly with tour guides and customers. It is the 'Portland port shuttle bus' that drops off and collects people throughout the day from 10 am until 7 pm. There was no escape for us! Out of a one-week stay, three days were affected. While we spent most of our time hiking or at the beach, the afternoons were terrible after returning to relax before dinner. We feel that charging the full rate/rent for these days is unreasoable. When were asked by Sykes Holiday Cottages whether everything is fine two days after our arrival, and it was then when we reported the problem but it was only confirmed that our observation is correct. I would have expected a different approach to the problem.
