Property details:

Mellstock is set in the idyllic Dorset village of Upwey which is famous for its Wishing Well and Dorset Cream teas. This holiday home has countryside views and a cottage garden.  Internally the owner has created a homely feel throughout with muted colours and generous furniture.  A sparkling stream runs through the village under the shade of the great Chestnut trees. The picturesque mill was the model for Thomas Hardy's mill in his novel the "Trumpet Major" and is well worth a visit. Upwey has a local pub and within walking distance is a convenience store.  There are quiet country walks available surrounding the village.  Weymouth's golden sandy beach, shopping centre, gourmet restaurants and colourful harbour are a mere 10 minute car or bus ride away. The county town of Dorchester with its Museum and good shopping amenities lies just three miles to the North.

Accommodation: Lounge/Diner.  Kitchen. Cloakroom with toilet and hand basin. Utility area. Stairs to first floor Step up to Bedroom 1, twin single beds.  Step up to bathroom, bath with electric shower over, hand basin and toilet.  Bedroom 2, kingsize double with ensuite shower, hand basin and toilet.  Cottage style stairs up to second floor with turn up to: Bedroom 3, double bed.
