The cottage was perfect for our Christmas stay with dogs. On arrival it felt cosy & warm and was festively welcoming with the Christmas tree, mince pies and prosecco - Thankyou. The enclosed garden was a real bonus and the entry into the stone floor of the kitchen was a great buffer area to keep the lounge free of wet dogs. The location was excellent with easy access to the beach and stunning walks on the coastal path. Both pubs in the village were human & dog friendly and served great food. We will be back! Stayed December 2017

Great compact cottage for our family of 4 with 2 teenagers, right in the centre of the village, and only 10 minute walk to hive beach. Everything we needed for our short break over the lovely bank holiday weekend. Stayed August 2017.

Although we have stayed in Burton Bradstock many times in the past this was our first stay at Apple Tree Cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this lovely cottage. From the initial booking to the end of our holiday everything was smooth and efficient. We will definitely book future holidays with Dream Cottages. Stayed April 2016

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Apple Tree Cottage. It's a beautiful thatched cottage next door to the village post office and a stone's throw from the Three Horseshoes pub which does great food and is dog friendly!
The cottage is well equipped and cosy with a lovely little garden and patio. It's a short walk to the beach and the West Bay Cafe, and a great spot to travel further afield along the coastal path.
We would heartily recommend! Stayed April 2016

About the Location
Burton Bradstock perfect for that holiday getaway. Well known for its’ prime position along the Jurassic Coast where the sandstone cliffs mark the start of Chesil beach, Burton Bradstock is a large and pretty village which has retained much of its’ character from a time when it’s inhabitants were made up a small community of farmers, fisherman, net makers and flax spinners. Burton Bradstock beach is a shelving shingle beach close to the village, with far reaching views across Lyme Bay and Chesil Bank. There are plenty of picturesque walks to choose from all along the coast and when you are tired, the village also boasts one of the finest seafood restaurants in the area ‘The Hive Beach Café’, where you can kick back and watch the world go by.
