River Cottage Summer Festival
Posted by Kate Rickard on August 4, 2017
26th – 27th August
The River Cottage Summer Festival offers a unique mix of food masterclasses, live music and family friendly fun and entertainment.
Taking place this August, it is not just cookery workshops revellers can get involved with; a whole range of workshops from bush craft to jewellery and pottery are also available, as well as yoga classes for adults and children, a games area and circus performances and workshops for the whole family from Swamp Circus.
See behind the scenes at River Cottage, a pop up restaurant will be in the farmhouse itself, offering delicious, fresh and seasonal sit-down meals. If you can’t tear yourself from the wealth of acts and activities, why not grab something tasty from one of the street food stands, who will be teaming up with local producers to create some irresistible treats and the fully licensed bar will ensure no festival goer goes thirsty!
Of course, no festival is complete without live music and the Festival Gig Nights promise to make this an unforgettable event. The fantastic line-up of musicians includes headline act Sound of the Sirens, who will on the Saturday and Mr Tea and the Minions, who will take the stage on Sunday, plus much more!
Tickets for the whole weekend, 1 day/night, daytime only, or Gig Night only, see here for more information and to buy tickets online.
