This was our seventh visit to Riverbank Cottage. We love coming back every year as it is the perfect location for a quiet holiday. The cottage is charming, and as long as we are able we will return year after year and hopefully more when we retire. We have met the owners and they are very accommodating, always leaving us with a supply of milk, tea, coffee, biscuits for our arrival as well as toilet rolls, kitchen rolls, washing up liquid etc. I would highly recommend this cottage as an ideal holiday to my friends and family.Mrs L Ayliffe

Riverbank Cottage offers peace and tranquillity being located in an excellent rural position. Built in 1849 and refurbished throughout, the cottage is completely separate but semi-detached to its neighbour (Millwater Cottage). The surrounding countryside is a delight to any country lover and a Ramblers dream. Riverbank Cottage has its own enclosed private garden area which overlooks the river Cory that has fishing rights. The cottage is half a mile from the 'Best Kept Village' of yesteryear at Dalwood. The popular 'Tuckers Arms', a seventeenth century Inn offers very good food and hospitality. The bustling town of Axminster famous for its carpet and Thursday market day lies three miles from the cottage. Lyme Regis, Beer and Seaton are all within a seven mile journey to the coast. Guests interested in indulging in local produce will find an abundance in the area, the acclaimed Lyme Bay Winery is a short drive away and in the village of Dalwood itself is the Dalwood Winery. Farms throughout the area provide cheese and meat, whilst the proximity to the coast ensures fresh seafood.
