Reviews of Apple Barn Cottage
Our stay at Apple Barn Cottage was really lovely, the cottage was very clean, spacious and located in a tranquil village. It was the perfect place to stay for a relaxing weekend away from it all. We would definitely recommend Apple Barn Cottage and would stay there again. Stayed October 2015Miss G Hatherley

Apple Barn Cottage, a pretty Grade II listed thatched cottage situated in the heart of the village. This picture postcard property has been lovingly refurbished and updated. The popular coastal village of Burton Bradstock is known for its narrow twisting lanes, picturesque river walks and the stunning Jurassic coast, beach and cliffs a few minutes' walk away. The coastal popular village of Burton Bradstock is known for its narrow twisting lanes, picturesque river walks and the stunning Jurassic coast, beach and cliffs a few minutes' walk away. The cottage is known to be one of the oldest in this pretty village having been built some 350 years ago and is in an ideal location for both country and coastal lovers. It is within a short walking distance of two 'centuries old' public houses, both having popular restaurants (we recommend booking in advance). An outing to West Bay, which is less than two miles away, gives you a chance to explore the colourful fishing harbour and to sample some of the locally caught crabs and lobsters. Bridport, with its busy farmers market and weekly antiques and collectables market, is just a couple of miles away. Although enclosed by low stone walling and a secure gate, children should be supervised in the front garden due to the close proximity of the cottage to the main coast road which passes through the village.
