The property

Taylor's Retreat is a Victorian, end-of-terrace property situated in Weymouth, Dorset.

This well-presented getaway is an ideal choice for families, positioned just a leisurely walk from the town’s coast, amenities, and attractions, making it a wonderful base for a seaside retreat.

Step inside your new home-from-home and find the kitchen/diner, appointed with a range of appliances to assist with home-cooking, whilst the dining table offers a spot for mealtimes.

Afterwards, unwind on the sofa in the living room, where you can catch up on your favourite shows and think about the adventures to come.

Head upstairs and begin your nightly routine in the shower room, before dispersing to either of the three bedrooms; the master hosts a double, whilst there is a twin room with two single beds and a further single bedroom with a raised single bed. Whether it’s a relaxing day at the beach, a bite to eat in one of the waterside restaurants or a stroll along the promenade, Weymouth has it all.

History buffs will be drawn to Nothe Forte, a historic fortification that now serves as a museum; explore its underground passages, exhibitions and enjoy wonderful coastal views.

See the world’s only managed colony of nesting mute swans at Abbotsbury Swannery or spend the morning birdwatching from RSPB Radipole Lake.

Enjoy a day trip to Dorchester and explore the Dorset Museum, wander the grounds of Max Gate, formerly the home to Thomas Hardy, or visit Maiden Castle and uncover one of the largest and most complex Iron Age hillforts in Europe.

Further afield, Bridport ports a charming array of boutique shops, quirky cafes, and art galleries, whilst the rest of the stunning Jurassic Coast awaits.

Choose Taylor's Retreat for a splendid Dorset retreat.
