This semi-detached cottage is located right by the Jurassic coastline. The property benefits from a warm farmhouse kitchen and cosy sitting room.

Showing the traditional beams, the property gives the feeling of a character and charm.

The large kitchen, diner is great for the family to enjoy a tasty meal together and sit at the table discussing the adventures of the day.

A shower room, downstairs.

Upper floor, three bedrooms and a bathroom.

Within a five minute walk is Lulworth Cove, world famous for its geologically unique and beautiful cove, and the Dorset Coastal Path is just a stroll away.

Local restaurant and pubs in the area too.

Enjoying a day at the beach you can soak up the summer sun and views or take a Jurassic Kayak Tour whilst on holiday.

For those keen walkers or only a short drive away is the nearby Durdle Door, a large rock formation likened to a doorway, arising from the sea, is a must visit attraction; a popular beach offering snorkelling and cliff walks.

Looking for a day trip out then the famous Monkey World, as seen on TV and The Tank Museum are both nearby and worth a visit.

Or head west along the coast towards Weymouth and enjoy a day on the golden sands and visit the high street shops but also the local quaint shops. However, you decide to spend your days at Forge Cottage, on returning after a fun filled warm summers day enjoy eating alfresco in the garden or have a glass of something warming snuggled on the sofa in front of the log burner in the winter. Forge Cottage and Little Forge are sister adjoining properties.

About the location

WEST LULWORTH

Wareham 9.1 miles; Weymouth 14.7 miles

West Lulworth boasts some of the most dramatic geological features on the Jurassic coastline and arguably the most photographed locations in the UK. Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door sit at the heart of this area and really are a must see. Lulworth Cove has many little café’s and beachside shacks serving local seafood, ice cream and other delights, as well as several restaurants and pubs from which to choose. There is an Lulworth estate information centre which offers an insight into how the cove and Durdle door were formed and Jurassic history of the region. If you tire of Cove and cliff top walks then Lulworth Castle is a short drive away and offers another glimpse at some more recent history, along with Tyneham Village, and Corfe Castle. This is a really special area and the village retains a lot of it’s thatched cottages and has a real air of a rural retreat.
