“We had a fantastic stay at The Boardwalk.”

The location couldn’t be better, close to everything with great views. The kitchen has every gadget you need to self cater, and the flat is super cosy. We will definitely be booking again, it was wonderful. One final note, every review mentions the car parking. All I’d say is do not let this put you off. We have an SUV and used the car park space for the entire week, and we were parking next to another SUV. It’s a squeeze but reverse in and you will be fine. I read everyone ...

I read everyone else’s reviews in advance and was worried, there was no need to.

The property

The Boardwalk is a first floor apartment on the West Bay Harbourside development of Quay West and featured in the ITV drama series "Broadchurch".

Slightly smaller than our other apartments and therefore priced accordingly, The Boardwalk was one of the show apartments in the complex and as such has been furnished and finished to a very pleasing standard.

Sit and take in the sea air on the balcony with partial views of the colourful and ever changing harbour scene.

Entering the apartment via the hallway you will then find the open plan kitchen and sitting area overlooking the harbour.

Patio doors lead off to a balcony overlooking harbour, The apartment has two bedrooms.

The coast path can be taken to the east towards West Bexington or the west towards Seatown with stunning sea and county scenery along the way.

The nearby bustling market town of Bridport offers many interesting local craft and antique shops.

West Bay is a gateway to the 'World Heritage Status' Jurassic coastline of Dorset where the beady eyed hunter can often find exceptional fossils due to the wealth of exposed rocks.

West Bay's famous sandstone East Cliff is a prime example where 180 million years of history is laid bare for all to see.
