The property

This lovely semi-detached cottage ‘Stockford’ can be found in the village of East Stoke near Wool, Dorset and can accommodate a family of six.

It is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is within easy reach of some of Dorset’s finest beaches and the famous Jurassic Coast.

Two off-road parking spaces are available at the property, situated behind an electric gate.

Once inside the cottage, you’ll discover a stylishly decorated sitting room with rustic, exposed beams and a fantastic inglenook fireplace - it would be hard not to snuggle up on the reclining sofas to watch a family film on the large Smart TV or just relax with a cup of tea or something a little stronger.

The Saxon town of Wareham can be found just 3.5 miles away and here you can find an array of shops and cafes/restaurants and enjoy a relaxing time by the river.

A half hours drive will find you at the coastal towns of Weymouth or Swanage and the National Trusts Corfe Castle and Studland Beach are within easy reach too.

With so much to see and do in the area, Stockford is the ideal place from which to explore all Dorset has to offer.

Wool is a small Dorset village with It’s own railways station and Jurassic Coast bus (X54) linking Poole and Weymouth. The River Frome runs through the village and has famous connections as the 17th Century Woolbridge manor where ‘Tess of the D’Ubervilles’ spent her honeymoon her honeymoon in the Thomas Hardy’s novel. Thomas Hardy’s Cottage can be found just outside Dorchester around 12 miles from Wool and offers an interesting day out. Some of Purbeck’s most loved attractions are also on the doorstep of Wool, with the Tank Museum, Clouds Hill, the home of Lawrence of Arabia and Monkey World rescue centre. A short 5 mile drive will see you in West Lulworth where you can enjoy the spectacular geological sites of Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door.
