The property

Corfe Lodge, a lovely four-bedroom Purbeck stone cottage in Dorset, is tucked away on the outskirts of the historic village of Corfe Castle.

Corfe Lodge is a great place for a family or group of eight to stay in the Dorset AONB because of its great location and easy access to local amenities.

Parking can be found in one of three off-road spaces, before unloading your bags and beginning your holiday.

There is a large dining table that seats eight people and a Smart TV, so you don't have to miss out on any of your favourite shows while you're cooking up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen/diner!

The garden is a lovely spot for alfresco dining, with its dining table and parasol, along with views of the historic Corfe Castle.

After dinner, head to the sitting room to relax in front of the wood-burning stove on the plush sofas as you watch a family favourite on the Smart TV.

On the ground-floor you will also find a well-appointed double bedroom, with use of the nearby cloakroom, perfect for those with limited mobility.

Make your way to the first floor, where you can relax in the bath or shower after a day of exploring the coast.

There are three more bedrooms on this floor: a king with its own en-suite shower, an double, and a twin , all with Smart TVs, perfect for watching your favourite shows while you wake up slowly in the mornings.

The Castle Inn and The Pink Goat are two great options for a night out with your loved ones when you fancy a night off from the kitchen!

Enjoy a stroll along the Corfe River in the historic village before making your way to the impressive Corfe Castle, where you can explore fascinating ruins, take in the views of the village, and go on nature hikes through beautiful scenery.

Additionally, the Corfe Castle Model Village, Dorset Adventure Park and Corfe Castle Railway Station can all be found nearby.

You can easily get to Wareham and Arne, which is known for its extensive RSPB site, which are sure to entice any birdwatchers.

Visit Swanage for a day at the beach where you can relax on the sands, eat fish and chips as you stroll along the pier, or enjoy the Sante-Fe Fun Park.
