The kitchen is beautiful and everything is of a high standard. The bathroom leads off the kitchen - it is modern with a very good walk-in shower. The patio doors lead out into the prettiest garden. if you walk down the garden it is like being in a meadow. A lovely place to sit and have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The stairs are wooden and are quite small, but we are in our sixties and soon got used to them, they are part of the charm of the place. The bedroom is spotless, light and airy, and leads to another dressing room where there is a wardrobe and space for cases.
We visited Sherborne, Shaftesbury and Salisbury for days out. We even went to the local pub - Thomas Hardy based his 'Pure Drop' in Tess of the D'Urbervilles on The Crown Inn. It was a much needed break after lockdown - we loved it.
Thank you Anabel.
