Chesil beach can be found only 2 miles away and from here you can join the South West Coast path and walk in either direction, towards Abbotsbury or Portland.
Drive (or walk) on to Portland and from the top, take in views along the Jurassic Coastline and see if you can spot Loscombe Retreat in the distance.

Take a walk up to Saint Catherine’s Chapel, built by the monks in the 14 century as a place of retreat.
