    “Maple House at Silverlakes was very well presented.”

    The crockery and utensils were plentiful for any occasion. I would recommend a stay at this house for up to 8 people. The countryside view was very rewarding with the constant showing of wildlife from Rabbits, birds, foxes and Deer.

The property

Maple House occupies a wonderful location in Beaumont Village, Silverlake, Dorset.

This unique, modern holiday cottage boasts award winning design and has uninterrupted views over the lake and heathland.

The bright and spacious open plan living space is so enticing, you won’t want to leave.

The full height ceiling and bifold doors really bring the outside in and ensure the house is flooded with natural light.

With a beautiful modern fully equipped kitchen, a dining table to seat 8 and lots of comfortable seating in the living area, this is a space the whole family can relax together, and with the added bonus of a wood burner it’s a really homely space.

Open the doors and bring the outside in, and relax overlooking the lake and watch the ponies grazing just a few feet away.

Maple House benefits from full access to the onsite Activity Hub's facilities (subject to prior booking and availability) included in the cost of the accommodation giving you free access to bikes, canoes, kayaks and stand up paddle boards during your stay. Warmwell

Warmwell derives it’s name from a well of tepid water, and has a varied village history including, having an RAF airfield used by the RAF in the second world War. If you want to continue on a theme of military history then why not explore the Tank Museum at Bovington just 8 miles away. Monkey World rescue is also an interesting day out and just around the corner from the Tank Museum. Should you be craving the sight and sounds of the sea then you are also ideally placed, with Lulworth Cove and Durdle just 8 miles away to the East and Weymouth and it’s golden sands and shallow water just 8 miles to the west. You will find many local café’s and restaurants in both these locations where you can sample local fish and award-winning produce. Be sure to enjoy an ice cream on the seafront.
