The property

Resting just a stone’s throw away from the glorious beach and all that Weymouth has to offer, including its stunning old harbour is this traditional terrace property, Mint Cottage.

This cottage is ideal for a family seeking a seaside holiday to the popular resort town of Weymouth and to venture further afield to explore all that Dorset has to offer.

Be welcomed into the open-plan room, where you and your loved ones can look forward to gathering in to spend some quality time together.

The sitting room enjoys a refreshing ambiance and two striking red sofas rest around the feature fireplace and TV.

Joining this space is the well-equipped kitchen, which is certain to entice any budding chefs of the group to make the most of the gas hob, oven and microwave to cook up a storm, as well as the dishwasher to offer a helping hand.

Once dinner is cooked, regroup with your family at the dining table to toast to a memorable holiday or to pull out the map and plan the next day's adventure.

The interior is concluded by two bedrooms, which enjoy contemporary furnishings and large windows flood the room with light, offering a tranquil space to wake up to each morning.

During the summer months, look forward to spending evenings upon the first-floor terrace, where table and chairs offer an alternative dining experience whilst staying here.

Explore your local surroundings and be delighted by all the amenities that you will require that are situated just paces away from the property, these include a supermarket, independent shops and a range of pubs.

You will be spoilt for choice by the range of restaurants that can be found within the town, ranging from delicious fish and chips, to the finest eateries serving the best of the day's catch.

For things to do, be sure to laze on the glorious sands of Weymouth’s prestigious blue-flag beach, whilst children can enjoy the traditional Punch and Judy shows, donkey rides and shallow waters.

Take a walk down to Brewers Quay and the old harbour side, where you will find a number of beaches to relax upon and catch glimpses of the fishing boats and luxury yachts passing by.

Alternatively, take a drive to the Isle of Portland and stroll along the 18-mile along Chesil Beach, or spend the day in the town of Dorchester, where you can visit Maiden Castle, Kingston Maurward Gardens & Animal Park and The Tutankhamun Exhibition.

Mint Cottage is the ultimate escape to the coast.
