“Cottage exceeded expectation, it was perfect in all ways.”

Really felt at home and only a stone's throw from beautiful Newtons Cove and not far into town and main beach. Cottage clean and seemed very new. kitchen had everything you could possibly want, lovely to sit in the garden. Great garden furniture and lovely dining area with doors wide open onto garden. Relaxing sitting room, lovely bathroom and bedrooms with massive wardrobe space. All in all 10/10 for a holiday again this year. Thanks to all at dream cottages - stayed July 2017

The property

A terraced holiday cottage in the ever popular 'Maltings' development in Weymouth.

The property welcomes you into the sitting room which is comfortable, with the sofa offering you to relax and put up your feet after a day of walking and exploring.

The kitchen leads to the conservatory/dining room with space to enjoy a lovely home cooked dinner and then finish the evening with and nice drink on the patio, catching the last of the summer sun.

Upstairs you will find two comfortable bedrooms and a modern bathroom.

A lovely rear patio area, perfect for a relaxing drink after a sunny day at the beach or an alfresco breakfast to prepare you for a day exploring the World Heritage Status Jurassic Coastline. The Maltings is a favourite with holiday makers due to its quiet and exclusive residential location, yet close to the popular Brewers Quay area and harbour.

The property has been extensively modernised.

If you don't fancy cooking, a wide choice of eating places is within easy walking distance.

With the choice of the hustle and bustle of Weymouth's main sandy beach only a 10-minute walk away or the locally preferred quieter choice of Newton's Cove is just around the corner.

The Nothe Gardens are a short walk from the property, offering the perfect place to take a picnic up on the gardens and watch the sea glisten in the summer sun.

If you want to enjoy some time getting to know the history of the Nothe gardens then The Nothe Fort is place to visit, lots of history as well they offer family activity days.

Hatherley Cottage is perfect for families but couples looking for some extra space, quality time away, located in the ideal spot to explore the area.
