The property

Situated in the exclusive gated development of Shire Horse Mews, Footprint is a conversion from original stables used by the Devenish Brewery in Weymouth.

Boasting a stylish lounge and a master bedroom with en-suite, this mews cottage is very comfortably appointed.

It is as cosy for winter holidays as it is perfectly located for summer breaks. Short walk away is ever-changing Brewers Quay area with cafes, restaurants and XV century Tudor house.

Just a few minutes' walk away is Newton’s Cove offering a lovely promenade walk and pebbly beach which leads to Nothe Gardens, the perfect place for a picnic on a sunny day.

Weymouth's golden sands lie only about a 15 minute walk away from the property.

A brisk walk along the quayside to collect your morning paper will set you up for the day. Weymouth is a perfect location to explore the area.

If you like walking or driving and visiting places, you will find a lot of destinations to choose from.

Visit beautiful Durdle Door and Lulworth cove which can be easily reached either with car or a bus, or you can choose to walk on stunning clifftops following the South West Coast path.

It’s a challenging 16-mile walk, even though very rewarding.

There are plenty of pubs and restaurants to finish your day with a tasty meal.

Venture to the opposite side and visit beautiful historic village of Abbotsbury with Swannery and Sub-tropical gardens.

A lot of attractions are in the village with small shops and beautiful village streets, so you can spend the whole day out there. Sleeping up to five people this lovely property will help you to relax and enjoy an adventurous exploration of Dorset coast.

Brewers Quay is the old Victorian brewery situated at the heart of the harbour, in Weymouth, Dorset. Much of the grade II listed complex and surrounding brewery buildings date from the late 1800 early 1900’s and many have stones inlaid commemorating their construction year. This area is now a popular destination with many restaurants, café and bars, creating a vibrant culture, where you can relax with a drink and watch the world go by. Tucked away down the harbourside streets, you will find original Tudor harbour buildings, estimated to have been built in 1600 and well worth a visit, with a very interesting history to share. You will also find the Weymouth Museum, with some incredible exhibitions, and the harbour is also home to the lifting bridge, where you can watch the luxury yachts head out to sea, and then walk over the bridge to the town's winding streets of boutique shops and the seafront esplanade and beach. There is more to this seaside town than meets the eye; Brewers Quay is a much-loved holiday destination in Weymouth!
