“The cottage was very clean & had everything you could need.”

The beds were really comfortable & it was very quiet & peaceful. The only criticism (all be it a small one) is that there is no blind at the back door & along with the clear glass panel on the front door made it feel a little odd at night time.

The property

A superb, mid-terrace cottage resting on the outskirts of the coastal town of Weymouth, in Dorset.

This wonderful retreat is well-equipped for a family seeking a traditional coastal getaway to this splendid part of the country.

After an action-packed day, the striking yellow door welcomes you into this contemporary cottage, housing everything you could possibly need during a week-long stay.

It comes with three well-presented bedrooms, comprising a king-size double, a twin and a single bedroom, ensuring a flexible sleeping arrangement to suit any group.

Look forward to spending your wind down time within sitting room, where you can sink into the plush L-shape sofa and tune into the TV with a cup of tea in hand.

Beyond here is the spacious kitchen/diner, where the designated chef of the group can whip up a delicious evening meal before gathering the loved ones around the dining table to enjoy a sociable evening.

If you are visiting during the summer months, enjoy a spot of alfresco dining within the enclosed garden to catch the last glimpses of sunshine before retiring of an evening.

A short stroll will bring you to two traditional pubs serving food, as well as a shop for picking up the essentials.

Within 4 miles you will find Weymouth’s famous beach with its soft sand and shallow waters and traditional seafront, where you will also find the SEA LIFE Centre, offering a great day out for all the family.

Make sure you enjoy some fish and chips and/or local ice cream on the harbour side and watch the lifting bridge rise to let the yachts sail out, or and try your hand at sailing at the National Sailing academy, situated less than 5 miles away.
