“We very much enjoyed our break in this cottage which we have stayed at many times previously.”

On arrival washing up liquid and a kitchen towel would have been helpful. A couple of things were unclear I.e. there were DVDs but we couldn't find a player for these and there was a note saying that the outside ate is private although the pictures on the website showed a table and chairs immediately outside the back of the cottage (we didn't use these as a result). A couple of things were unclear I.e. there were DVDs but we couldn't find a player for these and there was a note saying that the outside ate is private although the pictures on the website showed a table and chairs immediately outside the back of the cottage (we didn't use these as a result). We were also disappointed at the lack of facilities in the area. The Crown (the pub in the village) closed at 9pm apart from Sundays when it closed at 6pm. We struggled to find places in the area open longer with Sundays being particularly difficult.

Thank you for your feedback and thanks for coming back to the cottage again. The DVD player is built into the tv itself and guests are free to use the small courtyard garden - we make this clear in the welcome notes sent to all. I am unsure why you didn't find the washing up liquid and towel - they were certainly there when we stayed the following week! We love the local facilities in the area, especially The Crown which often has evening events well attended by locals and is open after 9pm whenever we visit. Hope to see you back soon.
