    “Garland cottage was clean and functional but there were a few minor issues during our stay.”

    The bathroom is quite dark and the shower screen leaked so every time anyone had a shower, the floor would get completely wet. There were a few dead flies on the window sills when we arrived. The bedrooms were comfortable but the living and dining area felt a bit cold/unwelcoming. The kitchen was clean and spacious but not that well equipped - e.g. only a plastic colander which we didn't want to use for draining hot pasta, no serving spoons, the crockery and cutlery were slightly ...

Felt a bit like a student house. The stables next door are a complete bonus though and Sue the manager was lovely. Helen was also very responsive when we asked for extra bath mats and informed her there were 2 broken glasses in the cupboard.

    Thank you so much for your helpful feedback, the new more powerful shower showed where the shower screen needed a new seal which has now been replaced, had we known during your stay we would happily have looked at that for you. We have also reviewed the kitchen contents and made some updates, as always, we would gladly have provided any required items had we been aware.
