“Generally a very comfortable and welcoming property where we enjoyed our stay.”

The parking is not great, but there is parking and it is accessible with care. Hello Alan, We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Driving instructions clarifies car parking spaces 1, 11 and 12 are available. Guests don't seem to be reading the information email sent to them so we will add this to the information in the apartment. The apartment is a very good Eco Build property which does make it nice and warm. However, the towel rails and heating shouldn't be on yet, there are no radiators as we have the benefit of underfloor heating. Guests can open the four sitting room windows and second bedroom windows overnight as they are elevated to second floor height. Thank you for your comments - it is really good to have feedback from guests . Kind Regards John and Rebecca. Property Owner

Look forward to spending evenings with loved ones in the open-plan living space, which has a well-equipped kitchen for whipping up mouth-watering meals and features a dishwasher and washing machine for keeping your space tidy.

Dinner for four at the dining table is a great opportunity to catch up on the day's events whilst enjoying your favourite tipple.

Relax in the sitting area, which features a huge bay window overlooking the Purbeck Hills, where you can unwind in front of your favourite film on the Smart TV.

Soothe tired muscles in the bath with a good book before heading to one of the two well-appointed bedrooms, a king-size with an en-suite shower room or a bunk room with a single pull-out, which is great for children!

Prepare for the day ahead with a steaming cup of coffee thanks to the KRUPS coffee machine after a restful night's sleep.

Explore the town of Swanage where you'll find a wide variety of independent eateries, coffee shops, galleries, and gift shops.

The Durlston Country Park, which sits atop the town, is a great site for a walk along the limestone cliffs and provides stunning views over the town.

If you can tear yourself away from the beach, travel over to Corfe Castle, where the Purbeck Park and the stunning 100-year-old castle with unparalleled views and nature walks are available to be explored.

Dorset's stunning beaches are just a short drive away from Studland, where horseback riding and a national nature reserve are also available.

Tyneham, a UNESCO World Heritage Site along the South West Coast Path, offers breath-taking vistas from Bowleaze Cove to Peveril Point.

Lulworth Cove can be visited from here, where you may spend the day exploring the sheltered harbour and paddling the shores of the secluded cove.

About the location

SWANAGE

Wareham 9.7 miles; Poole 20 miles.

The small, family-friendly seaside resort of Swanage is situated at the eastern end of Dorset’s famous Jurassic Coast, on the celebrated Isle of Purbeck and is probably best known for its wonderful, gently shelving golden sands. The little town offers visitors plenty of shops, good pubs and restaurants, some of which specialise in locally caught seafood, and is also well known for its annual jazz festival, which takes place each July. The attractive, Victorian wooden pier offers a great place for a stroll or try fishing, and often used a departure point for divers, it’s a wonderful place to watch the world pass by. The historic Swanage Railway has its terminus in the town and regular nostalgic steam engine trips take tourists for a picturesque 6-mile journey, chugging through lovely countryside to stop just beyond the romantic ruin of Corfe Castle. Nearby Durlston Country Park offers a lovely day out with spectacular coastal walks, dolphin spotting and wildlife watching, together with comfortable viewing points and a well-stocked cafe for a treat after all the fresh air. Take the short drive to Studland, which has one of the finest beaches in the country, surrounded by heathland, together with the regular chain ferry, which crosses the mouth of Poole Harbour to Sandbanks. This truly is a delightful holiday destination at any time of the year.
