“We had a very enjoyable stay at Mae Tides.”

We found the property to be pristine and very spacious and comfortable with everything you need for a great stay. It was lovely to be a short drive away from the seafront. I did walk one day, though and it took about half an hour, so you don’t always need to take the car. We chose the bungalow because of the ground floor bedroom and facilities to suit my elderly father, who has reduced mobility. We shall definitely be rebooking when we return to the area to see our daughter and her family who ...

The property

This detached home, Mae Tides, is located in a lovely residential district of Weymouth, just a few miles from the beautiful Chesil Beach.

There's no better place to start a trip to Dorset than Mae Tides, which has a big and welcoming décor and is close to a variety of must-see sights.

After parking in the off-road parking spaces, clean your sandy shoes in the hallway before relaxing in the living/dining area, which is equipped with a sofa and a TV with DVD player for light entertainment.

Move into the kitchen, where you can start preparing a delicious dinner with the help of the electric oven and stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher, which means you won't have to lift a finger when it comes to cleaning!

As you fatigue, retire to one of the bedrooms, which include a luxurious double on the ground floor and a further double and compact twin on the first floor.

In the family bathroom, freshen up for the day or go to the ground floor shower room for a fast rinse.

An enclosed garden surrounds Mae Tides on the outside, ideal for a relaxing moment in the sun while reading your favourite book.

When you're ready to go exploring, Weymouth has plenty of options; the town centre has a variety of restaurants, pubs, and cafés with cuisines ranging from harbour dining with freshly dived scallops and local seafood to conventional fish and chips.

Spend a sunny afternoon on the sands of Chesil Beach, or travel to Smallmouth Bay, a hidden treasure where you can relax for the day before heading to Wyke Smugglers for a refreshing pint!

Wildlife enthusiasts will appreciate a visit to the SEA LIFE Centre Weymouth, the tranquil RSPB Radipole Lake, or the RSPB Lodmoor, while keen walkers may join the South West Coastal Path, which offers spectacular views and a diverse range of activities.
