The property

Sea Holly is a beautiful two-bedroom house located on the outskirts of Wyke Regis in Dorset.

Sea Holly is a lovely home for two couples or a family of four seeking a coastal adventure, since it is located just moment’s away from the beach and the lively town of Weymouth.

The kitchen in your new holiday home is compact but has everything you need to whip up delicious meals, which you can then enjoy either indoors at the table for four or alfresco in the rear, multi-level garden.

After a satisfying meal, unwind on the inviting sofas in the combined living/dining area while watching a movie on the Smart TV.

Take the stairs up to the first floor, where you'll find a spacious double bedroom and a twin, both with access to a well-appointed shower room, perfect for freshening up after a day of exploring the coast.

Enjoy delicious seafood at the Crab House Café or hearty meals at the Breeze Bar & Grill, both located within Wyke Regis, or fill up on necessities at the well-stocked convenience store.

The beautiful Smallmouth Bay is just paces away, and the famed South West Coast Path is within walking distance from the village.

Keep going to Weymouth, where you may see the beautiful Sandsfoot Castle and Gardens, the picturesque Rodwell Trail, the educational Tudor House Museum, and the impressive Nothe Fort.

The Pleasure Pier, Weymouth Museum, Sandworld, and Fantasy Island can all be found in the town centre, together with a wide variety of restaurants, shops, and the RSPB Radipole Lake.

Dorchester, further out, boasts many attractions, including the Roman Town House, the Military Keep Museum, the Dorset Museum, and the National Trust's Max Gate.

Adventure awaits at Sea Holly.

About the location

Weymouth 2 miles; Dorchester 9 miles.

Wyke Regis is a village on the south western side of Weymouth that sits on the northern edges of Portland Harbour and reaches as far as the back of Chesil beach and The Fleet, just two miles from the centre of Weymouth. There are local shops, cafés and restaurants including the famous Crab House café, with it’s own oyster beds on the doorstep. The National Sailing School, an Olympic legacy, offers a wide variety of water sports and is just two miles away on the edge of Portland Harbour. The Fleet Lagoon that runs between Wyke Regis and Chesil beach is an important area for wildlife and there are many species of birds to be seen in the area, whilst Chesil beach is also a renowned spot for fishing. The Fleet is probably most famous for being the testing ground for Barnes Wallis’s bouncing bomb, immortalised in the film the Dam Busters. Wyke Regis is the perfect location from which to explore many of Dorset’s most iconic locations on the Jurassic Coast.
