The property

This well-presented three-bedroom property lies nestled between the Isle of Portland and the incredible Dorset AONB, offering six guests a fantastic base for their adventures in Weymouth and beyond.

Fleet Breeze rests in the Weymouth suburban village of Wyke Regis, and boasts three-storeys with distant sea views from the second-floor bedroom.

After a busy day outdoors return to the comfort of the sitting room, relaxing on the sofas as you browse the channels on the TV for a good show or film to watch, or simply getting lost in a good book as the woodburning stove adds a welcome warmth in winter.

The chef of the group will be delighted with the beautiful kitchen/diner containing ample appliances sure to inspire some delicious dishes, with an impressive range cooker to get you started and a dining table to gather around once your meal has been served.

Following a long day, find rest in one of three bedrooms, with a double bedroom and a twin bedroom resting on the first floor, both offering pretty decor and storage, and accompanied by the shower room.

The final bedroom awaits you on the second floor, home to a double bed and enjoying distant sea views from the window thanks to its elevated position.

The village of Wyke Regis presents all you need for a self-catered stay, from shops and pubs to easy access to the coast and Portland Harbour, it's a great base for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts.

Head into the centre of Weymouth to experience the delights of a classic, British seaside resort, sunbathing on the golden sandy beach in summer or paddling and swimming in the sea, followed by a seafront or harbourside dinner at one of the lovely restaurants.

Don't miss the chance to visit Weymouth's most popular attractions including SEA LIFE Centre, Sandworld and Alexandra Gardens, with local history waiting to be discovered at Nothe Fort and Nothe Gardens.

The Isle of Portland has a great many old forts and ruins along the coast from previous wars and battles, well worth exploring on foot so you can soak up the stunning scenery of the Jurassic Coast, along with Portland Castle, Castletown D-Day Centre & Museum and Portland Marina & Boatyard all worth visiting too.

Enjoy a memorable and unique experience by booking a lovely outing with Portland Alpacas, taking these furry friends on a tranquil stroll before ending the outing with afternoon tea at the Portland Heights Hotel.

Walkers can hop on the South West Coast Path and venture into the Dorset AONB for plenty more terrain to discover.

Make wonderful memories in Wyke Regis with your loved ones at Fleet Breeze.

About the location

WYKE REGIS

Weymouth 2 miles; Dorchester 9 miles.

Wyke Regis is a village on the south western side of Weymouth that sits on the northern edges of Portland Harbour and reaches as far as the back of Chesil beach and The Fleet, just two miles from the centre of Weymouth. There are local shops, cafés and restaurants including the famous Crab House café, with it’s own oyster beds on the doorstep. The National Sailing School, an Olympic legacy, offers a wide variety of water sports and is just two miles away on the edge of Portland Harbour. The Fleet Lagoon that runs between Wyke Regis and Chesil beach is an important area for wildlife and there are many species of birds to be seen in the area, whilst Chesil beach is also a renowned spot for fishing. The Fleet is probably most famous for being the testing ground for Barnes Wallis’s bouncing bomb, immortalised in the film the Dam Busters. Wyke Regis is the perfect location from which to explore many of Dorset’s most iconic locations on the Jurassic Coast.
