“The location and amenities were not advertised correctly- although the property inside was lovely, there was absolutely no privacy to the owners and we had to spend any time inside with the curtains closed, on an extremely busy road with constant loud road noise, advertised as walking 5 minute distance to 5 pubs, only 1 pub and that was a 15 minute walk.”

Very disappointing location which should have been advertised correctly.

About the location

BURTON, DORSET

Christchurch 1.4 miles.

The village of Burton which boasts five excellent pubs are just a five minute walk away. If you enjoy walking then discover the beautiful River Avon; this stretch is called the “The Royalty” and boasts top class fishing, or just enjoy the scenery and watch the swans gilding up and down. A day at the beach can commence at Hengistbury Head which opens onto 7 miles of golden sands leading right down to the glamorous Sandbanks. Bournemouth is a fifteen minute drive, or check out historic Christchurch and its famous priory. No trip would be complete unless you have strolled down to the pretty quayside, where you can enjoy refreshments whilst watching the ever changing boating scene, or you may wish to take one of the regular boat trips along the peaceful River Stour. Take your buckets and spades to one of the gorgeous sandy beaches nearby, and enjoy a ferry trip across the mouth of the harbour from Mudeford Quay to the sandbank with its colourful array of little beach huts. Should you tire of all the local attractions you’ll find plenty to do in the nearby family-friendly resort of Bournemouth, or venture into the New Forest National Park, both worth a visit.
